Tails From The Crypt Demon Knight 

Stuck for something to do on a weekend so took myself to see this and what a blast .

Fell in love not only with the movie also the soundtrack. Again a great fit .

 

Se7en the soundtrack  by Gravity Kills nails the feel of the movie a shame they didn't  realise more material. The industrial metal  matching the world Mills and Somerset are thrown into .

 

Strange Days how to almost get kicked out of a cinema  . The racket i made all the way through  with the twits and turns  the cast and story breathtaking  and before it's time with the tech involved with  the world Lenny Nero inhabitants.  The Peter Gabriel  end song While The Earth Sleeps  captivating . Katherine  Bigelow at her finest direction wise .

 

Bohemian Rapsody the only film I have seen X 4 times in the cinema  the previous  record being X 2 .

 

The biggest regret in my life was missing seeing  Queen live I was too young to go.on my own for the Kind of Magic tour Wembley. 

 

I did go to the tribute Concert to say goodbye to Freddie 

 

The Love Aid sequence was so good it felt like I was thire. 

 

All of my submissions  for this challenge I saw on the big screen mostly opening  weekend.

Challenge #10! Love this theme @extantsrevenge

 

I went with steelbooks for this weapons challenge. I also tried to lookup what the guns were specifically on this site, I don't know jack about guns. Here's what I've got: 

 

1) Total Recall...with an unfortunate scratch on the front

Weapons: Micro Uzi gun, Goncz GA gun

 

 

2) Scream 5

Weapon: Knife

 

 

3) Flash Gordon

Weapon: Sword

 

 

4) The Bourne Identity

Weapon: Taurus PT945 handgun

 

 

5) Serenity

Weapon: Axe, sword

 

 

6) Raiders of the Lost Ark

Weapon: Indy's whip, machete

 

 

Favorite hero weapon: Skywalker lightsaber

 

Favorite villain weapon: Dr. Soran's ridiculous rotating gun from Star Trek: Generations

CHALLENGE 10

 

I tried to pick a few titles that haven't seen the spotlight yet.

 

 

300 - Spear

Aquaman - Trident

The Equalizer - Power Drill (middle right of cover). Really could have done all five weapons from this edition alone, but I didn't think our illustrious @extantsrevenge would have approved lol).

The Hunger Games - Bow & Arrows

Resident Evil: Afterlife - Big Ass Axe

 

My favorite, super-cool hero's weapon has got to be the EM-1 Rail Gun with X-ray scope wielded by Arnie in the film Eraser. This bad boy could see through walls and fire supersonic rounds that zeroed in on a victim's heartbeat.

 

My favorite villain weapon is the double-bladed lightsaber used by Dath Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

So I am healing from a surgery and can't walk down the steps for at least 4 weeks and my movie collection is downstairs.

 

Options 1) Skip the next 4 weeks of challenges. 2) Ask my wife for help, although not sure I trust anybody to handle my movie collection 😄 and my wife is pretty much doing everything right now so this request likely won't end well. 3) Try to limp down the stairs (yeah that's not going to happen 😆). 4) Maybe I can have my kids grab some miscellaneous amarays that are stored away from my main movie collection to satisfy some of the upcoming challenges.

 

Gonna go with number 4, will see how this goes.
