Agreed. I only buy OCs (and open ALL of the slips) if I'm huge fan of the movie. If I think I may sell at a later date, then I keep some (or all) of the editions sealed.

 

I have no shot at the next level if open OCs don't count 😅

I actually started culling my collection a bit, especially the standard releases. I have several versions of the OG Star Wars trilogy but I refuse to buy anymore (like the 4ks) as I find the new/altered versions unwatchable.

Okay I managed to use only one OC. Idk if we can use video games, otherwise I could swap out NWH for Cyberpunk. Anyway!

 

1. Beauty and the Beast (Best Buy, Diamond, Zavvi)

2. Logan (Best Buy, Zavvi, Manta Lab)

3. Spider-Man: No Way Home (WeET)

4. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Best Buy, HMV, Target*)

5. The Thing (CineMuseum, CX Media, Turbine)

*It's a T2/Total Recall double pack, but the lenti is showing the T2 version!

I adjusted the rule addition about OC use a little so that it clearly reffers to sealed OCs. I think with this change we shoud be good.

Important! A OC counts for as many editions as are included. The award is about how many editions you own, so if you "only" have a OC of a movie that is still 2, 3 or 4 editions of the same movie.

Anyway using only SEALED OCs is NOT ALLOWED to get this Award! We want to see that you're a ★ BIG FAN ★ and not for example a completist of a specific retailer. Showing only sealed OCs for any of the 5 movies necessary for Stage 1 is limited to 2! Any additional sealed OC you use will only count as 1 edition.

There is NO limit on using opened OCs, you simply need to show us all editions.

The amount of sealed OCs will increase in later stages.

Thank you! I am so excited to have my first Collection Award! Those are some of my favorite movies too.

On it at lunch time...just need to make sure I have enough movies that I can compete...I have a few that have 3 copies but not sure I have 5 different ones that I can use.
