Thanks @Mrdugan for one of the most difficult challenges so far for me.

 

Don't have very much merchandise from films.  Thankfully, I recently gave my kids my old toys, so those were easily retrievable, and I barely have enough for the challenge.  Reason why I chose these items is that they were pretty much the only options I could think of.

 

1. Dr. No (or just James Bond in general): movie poster.

2. Revenge of the Sith: popcorn tin

3. Batman 1989: Batman soft figurine

4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Michelangelo figurine

Fun fact from my youth, when Jurassic Park came out I basically bought everything I could find for it. I had all the toys and every little item you can imagine. And when I bought sweets or other stuff with Jurassic Park on it I even asked for the display cases 😂. But I think I only have an old duvet cover left.

 

Seeing your Terminator figures brings also back memories, I had the first toyline and a giant Talking Arnold 😅

When it comes to merchandise, I almost only buy books and T-Shirts, so here are a few faves of mine:

Of course, no summer can go by without wearing a friendly reminder of one of the greatest summer blockbusters:

Merchandise! Consumerism is an important tenet in our hobby! Thanks @Mrdugan for this fun challenge! The spare bed is the only surface with enough room to show stuff off, and my wife and I have different work schedules, so her clothes are on the bed so she doesn't wake me up when she is getting ready, so I apologize in advance for bra straps and socks that might be in the picture!

Ok, I chose my signed Val Kilmer Pop for Tombstone (purchased from his website), the Top Gun Maverick "steel" popcorn bucket, my Little Damn Heroes Serenity, plush Pickle Rick (acquired at Comicon), and my light-up Infinity Gauntlet for Avengers Infinity War (Christmas present from my wife). I added some close ups as the zoomed out makes it hard to see them all!

i wanted to show different films and different items that go with them. so here it is: 

• harry potter films - board game (harry potter: hogwarts battle)
• james bond films - book (the james bond archives by taschen)
• saw + it 1+2 - t-shirt with the bunch of friends :-)
• star wars films - action figure (hasbro SW the black series hyperreal darth vader 8 inch) - still unopened
• manchester united: the official history 1878-2002 document on dvd - piggy bank

i have been even looking at the previous editions of it. when this one came out and it included "no time to die", i felt it was the right time to get it (as it covers all movies until daniel craig 's last film as 007). 

the book is great! plenty of photos, interesting texts,. you can open it anywhere and you will find something interesting on that page. really fantastic. 

 

on the other hand, its size and weight are too much, i suppose. i knew exactly what i was buying, but during reading, i need to have a book put on the table to enjoy it while reading. it is impossible to sit on the couch and go through it while having it on legs/knees as it is very uncomfortable. it really is heavy. 

 

but i will never regret buying it.
