It is time for a new award 😃. This time we are proud to present to you our

 

Everything New is Shiny Award

 

Many of you already post your new arrivals regularly in our "Show Your Last Received Steelbook or Special Edition" section in the main topic, in individual collector's topics or in the German room "Zuletzt gekauft" topic. So this award is about sharing pictures of your new arrivals with the whole community.

 

Since this is a Special award the rules are a little different to the Collection Awards and it is really easy to get and the first wave of members will already receive the award instantly 😍

 

To receive this award you need to post at least 5 times different new arrival pictures in the areas I mentioned above or anywhere else on the website (like the release topics of the editions you have received). After you reached that amount come to this topic and let us know. It might be good to provide links to those posts, or post the 5 arrivals here again, since we can't monitor all arrivals all the time ourselves.

 

Our starting point for this award is the 01.01.20. All new arrival pictures from that day count toward this award, pictures before that are not elegible.

My sincere thanks to @R1s1ngs0n, @Trianna, @extantsrevenge and of course, the Media Psychos Family for this esteemed award and the opportunity to share pics of my very much treasured 'Dragon Hoard' of films.

It's very satisfying to have a place to display pics of my collection, at a site peopled by folks that admire and appreciate what we've strived so hard to gather.

Very few real life friends appreciate or even understand, why one would collect such a variety of "movies", that they can pretty much watch anywhere, at any time.

It takes the eye and mindset of a fellow collector, to understand the affection for these beautiful, delicate and often elusive items.

And, having a place to commiserate over the effort and cost in doing so, is so very much appreciated!

 

And of course, Media Psychos;
