#2 stop using inappropriate language Wagon keychain included with the Novamedia Kill Bill Vol. 1 OC. Had to fight my girlfriend off from stealing this from me and bought her own to keep it safe (just the keychain not the whole OC cause ouchie this one was pricey to get)!

 

 

#1 has to be the amazing foil art print courtesy of MP that came as a bonus with the HDZeta TDK motherbox. Sorry for disappointing pics. I don't have a display home for it yet and pulling it out of that box is a b***. Still so pretty though 😍

I missed the first 2 challenges. I just blinked my eye and suddenly it was the next challenge. Didn’t want to let yet another challenge slip away.

 

Here is my first selection - a double sided poster from Eureka!’s Angela Mao double feature. I have a ton of posters from releases (I’m sure we all do, right?) and this is the first one that I’ve really felt the desire to actually frame up!

 

Second submission is the MP magnet cover for Avengers Endgame. I believe this came out in conjunction with WeET’s Endgame release.

Last is the CM The Thing release. Their “special gift” was a replica agar plate with blood. The Thing is probably one of my top 3 movies and I probably own more copies of it than any other movie. This release was also coming out just as I was getting into premiums and I remember thinking their website was sketchy AF and it seemingly took forever to come out.

I love this figurine as much as I love the movie. Absolutely impeccable! I love that I can articulate the figure too. Just outstanding. I believe this was made for a different release but was not included... is that correct? I've included my standard BD and my 4K disc here in the background.

WCL 2001: A Space Odyssey Memorabilia

I mentioned in the last post how much I love this set, and I'll say it again. It's glorious. I thought the included Dave Bowman ID was a neat touch. 

 

Last but not least...

Star Trek Beyond—U.S.S. Franklin

I don't have the box this came in anymore, but technically it was included within the same package, so I think it still counts? I've featured the 4K disc & BD steelbook here as well (love the steelbook, with that TMP style artwork!) 

 

The Franklin model itself is nice, it doesn't quite compete with some of the Eaglemoss releases in terms of build quality and texture but it's a good model nonetheless.

Our 4th challenge is:

 

"SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY"

 

Make sure to watch the video for the detailed info.

 

Show us 5 different Movies with 5 different transport vehicles on the front.

- Every type of packaging is allowed.

- Every type of transport vehicle is allowed.

- Make sure you include 5 different types of vehicles.

- Also for example don't show Fast & the Furious 1-5 and say they have different "fast cars" on it.

- But you can show 5 vehicles that come from the same vehicle family! For example a regular Car, a Police Car, a Taxi, a Truck and an Emergency Transport. That would be okay to use.

 

And now search your collection for valid titles and present them here for the next challenge point ! 😎👍

I was surprised to find so many different transport vehicles on front covers. Reason enough to make a challenge out of it.
Here is my selection of vehicles.

 

#1: Minions (HDzeta)
I have noticed that my little yellow buddies also like to drive. Minions like to ride a Vespa scooter.

 

#2: Der Schuh des Manitu
Just watched this movie a few days ago and it's always a pleasure to see this Karl May spoof.
No Western and no Indians without horses.

 

#3: Ein ausgekochtes Schlitzohr - Smokey and the Bandit
One of the most seen "fun-action-road-movies" with Burt Reynolds as "Bandit" and the stupid Sheriff "Buford T. Justice".
So as vehicle we got the legendary "Pontiac Firebird Trans Am".

 

#4: World War Z
One of the better "apocalyptic virus movies" with a realy cool Steelbook showing hordes of zombies climbing up to the helicopter.
So we also have an "air vehicle".

 

#5: Tangled
Saw this really nice Steelbook in my showcase in the hall and recognized the small boat.
So I also got a "watercraft".

 

#6: The Rescuers (Bernard und Bianca – Die Mäusepolizei)
As I saw this cover and I thought: "this must be THE extra mentioned vehicle" *g*
I proudly present you a "three surface-able (fly, swim, walk) vehicle: The 1977 2-mouse-seat Albatros Cabriolet with autopilot.😂😎

 Need to get to the next challenge

 

When I first heard about this challenge I started to going through some of my arrival pictures and was surprised how hard it is to find vehicles or any kind of transportation. Then more and more editions came to mind 😁

 

Since I'm sure not many will include Anime items I picked those first and got some unique vehicles.

 

I have

- Akira with a futuristic motorcycle (no way I would not include this iconic vehicle).

- Kiki's Delivery Service with a broom 😂, so funny, I wonder if anyone else will include a broom.

- Nausicaä with her Möwe. (Möwe is a compact, single-person motor glider with a short, tailless fuselage, durable construction and large wings with integrated rear elevators.).

- Whisper of the Heart with a simply bicycle.

- Porco Rosso with his Savoia S.21 fighter seaplane.

 

Anyway I was enjoying myself so much that I also picked 5 great live action covers.

 

The Hateful Eight: Wagon (very nice Kimchidvd Version)

Dances with Wolves: Horse (one of my favorite movies, so I had to include)

Terminator 2: Harley-Davidson (very Iconic movie poster art, awesome Steelbook, cult movie)

Robocop: Police car (also a cult movie/cover)

The Rocketeer: Jetpack (almost certain nobody would have thought about picking this 😅)

Week 3 Challenge

 

I’m cutting it close this week! Thanks for the reminder, @extantsrevenge! 😅

 

1. I’m a sucker for essay booklets, and Arrow always puts together some interesting ones. Robocop is one of my all-time favorites, and the limited edition has a nice thick booklet of essays, production notes, cast bios, and behind the scenes photos. Plus, they used the original key art for the booklet cover! I’d buy that for a dollar!

 

2. This silver coin from the UHD Club JAWS release has enough heft to put a dent in a man’s skull if you threw it at him. That’s pretty cool! I can’t help but imagine the damage this sucker could do if I ever dropped it off the top of the Empire State Building.

3. Last but not least are the character cards from Manta Lab’s DUNE. Or, more specifically, the back of the cards. Rather than just dropping the film’s title logo onto the back, they went an extra mile and turned these into a little puzzle that, once put together, forms the palace mural of the planet’s infamous sand worms. This is such an awesome touch and blew me away when I realized what a cool little bonus Manta had tucked away here. Huge props for this one!

Surprisingly difficult, I kept running into movies you would think would have a vehicle or modes of transport on the cover but then didn't, but here goes. I got 2 custom slips so if that doesn't work let me know and I'll add a couple more.

Week 4 Challenge

 

I wasn’t quite sure how much the inclusion of Star Trek and Interstellar might stretch the boundaries of @raylight’s challenge, so I included a sixth as a wildcard to make up for a potential duplicate! 
 

We’ve got here the spaceship from Interstellar, Batman’s batpod motorcycle, the USS Enterprise, James Bond‘s Astin Martin, the flying cop car from Blade Runner, and, if you can make it out, Snake Plissken on a surfboard! 😂

Week 4

 

Thanks to @raylight for a super cool challenge this week.  I went with some non traditional “vehicles” for my selection of 5. 
 

1. First up is Flight Of The Navigator from Second Sight.  

2. Next, another kid’s tale from my youth - Neverending Story the German 4K release. 

 

3. Third is one of my favorite kids films from the 80s, Joe Dante’s Explorers from Shout Factory. 

 

4. Switching gears - though also from the 80s is the awesome killer helicopter thriller Blue Thunder. 

 

5. Finally from Imprint is another great disaster/thriller Black Sunday
