Phew, I so glad you said that mate. I've seen how expensive a bottle of tequila can be, especially for the really good stuff from it's home origin in Mexico. I've seen bottles for well over £200 and I refuse to even buy a bottle of Patron for £45 here in the UK. Not at the speed I'll drink it 😂

 

El Jimador is still very reasonably priced on UK amazon at only £20 delivered. But I bet that won't last for much longer.

Few weeks ago I've seen a 4000€ Whiskey bottle in London Stansted Airport. 

 

I had read about expensive bottles, and I know that there are more expensive ones, Google says it and if Google says it it will be true...

 

But that generated a little debate with a colleague: is it worth it? Forgetting about such expensive examples, but taking into account very expensive but affordable bottles, is the difference in money proportional to the difference in pleasure or satisfaction?

 

I don't know.

 

But probably some regular buyer of those bottles will tell me that spending a lot of money on an edition ... is it worth it? Is the difference in money proportional to the difference in pleasure or satisfaction?

I just had an epiphany for mondays we can slighty rename mondays to

Moaning monday 

This is done like a friday in two ways

The girls can carry on with theres

And edward gets a new tongue in check way of doing girls moaning on a Monday for us guys and everyone is a winner 👍

Currently my favourite day is thin Tuesdays

Well currently sat outside hospital car park had first pre op  bloods pulled 

 

Then had a large Costa cappuccino and slice of cake under the counter get this £6.60

 

Talk about mug you in hospital shops

 

And as I was here around 8.30am and my last appointment is 11.50am starting if on time I dread to think car parking charges 

 

Let's hope second appointment with consultant goes well keep your fingers crossed for me peeps 🙏

Absolutely!! I got these botles here in Mexico at something around $25 (Mezcal Amores) and $35 (Tequila José Cuervo Tradicional Platino). I’ve seen these bottles in the US at $75-$90. Bottles of 750ml.

 

I think it’s not too bad that Patron at £45. I would pay it, but definitely wouldn’t  drink  it super fast on shots. 😅😅 I would enjoy it’s taste zip by zip very slowly. That’s how I usually drink Tequila, at least the good ones… 😅😅

 

But yeah, even here in Mexico we have some expensive bottles, “Boutique” ones. Around $1,000… 😅😅

I'd be quite interested to discover if any of our North American friends have ordered product directly from "Second Sight" or if they normally go through Zavvi/Amazon ?

They have a few releases that I have interest in and although some are also available via Zavvi (i.e. The Guest) some are not (i.e. The Amazing Mr Blunden) and if I'm going to order one direct, might as well order a few....😉

 

If you have, how was shipping cost/pkging?

My experience with this site is putting in a order through our Group Buys. My stuff came in one piece but of course with all our GBs you know it passes through a couple of hands so I’m not sure how much credit should be given to Second Sight. I could have just got lucky. I can’t remember which GB I made my request with but I will find out & maybe the Hub Master who received my items can give you more insight on how well they pack their products.
