Just wanted to quickly mention @Squeegie McGee, not too many of the anime shows that have been released in Steel have turned out spectacular.

Some, yes, i.e. GitS complete with PET slip was a beauty and the simplicity of Paranoia Agent was cool.

Vamp D is drop dead gorgeous, and I'd even suggest worth putting in a wall frame due to the incredible Amano artwork.

Promare is very cool as well.

As is both Monster Musume and No Game No Life, but I have a biased toward both those, heh. 🥰

The forthcoming Made In Abyss films in Steel, with Pushka front and centre is very cute as well.

I'm also confident that our Buddy @LeGonze would tout the qualities of the Akame Ga Kill Steel as well.

 

So yeah, they're out there, to be sure.

There's of course, a lovely variety of Collector's eds in ChipBox to keep an eye on as well, since some of the included extras can be one-shot opportunities.

Thanks for the heads up! I really want to get the Weathering with You premium set though it looks like there's different varieties of sets for that title

Indeed, there have been a plethora of releases for both "WWY" and "Your Name" (Shinkai's previous blockbuster) so depending on what amount of coin you wish to spend, you have options.

I personally elected to go with the Nova: Digibox LE, (Blue in colour) as it provides all I want (including OST) and contains both the Theatrical release and the much preferred Home release. Should you desire, they also have the 4K ed still in stock.

Binging Bofuri right now... I had to give my brain the afternoon off while watching it bc of the crazy shenanigans this anime brings... 2 more episodes to go... really enjoying this anime so far.. hope there's a season 2!

Currently, a LOT of Anime is very pricey at Amazon.ca and Amz.com has, as of late, consistently been appending an "import charge" and bizarre shipping fees to most Canuck orders, which combined with the $ exchange rate, puts even their deals often out of reach.

Fortunately, my Girls are streaming it, so no rush.

I did place my order for the Madokas at RS though.  🥰

Heh, "Danmachi" is indeed, a very cute series. Some folks forget that it's not actually an Isekai. No one's been "transported to another world" they're just in another world.

Just finishing up a 14 hr. day and I'm totally fried right now. So um, yeah here's all I can manage

- like the new GITS, undecided on ordering though

- I joined Balloon too. I like a break from the usual superhero stuff and this looks interesting. Plus I want to support for the reasons you mentioned.
