“ The Bourne franchise consists of action-thriller installments based on the character Jason Bourne, created by author Robert Ludlum. The franchise includes five theatrical films, and a spin-off prequel television series. The overall plot centers around Jason Bourne, a CIA assassin suffering from dissociative amnesia, portrayed by Matt Damon. All three of Ludlum's novels were adapted for the screen, featuring Matt Damon as the title character in each. Doug Liman directed The Bourne Identity and Paul Greengrass directed The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, and Jason Bourne. Tony Gilroy co-wrote each film except for Jason Bourne and directed The Bourne Legacy. Damon chose not to return for the fourth film, The Bourne Legacy, which introduces a new main character, Aaron Cross, a Department of Defense operative who runs for his life because of Bourne's actions in Ultimatum.”

Hoping for a Zavvi steelbook in the same style as the first one so I can then rewatch this in 4K 🙂 It's been a while so I'm struggling to remember which part was from which film in the trilogy!- 1 reply

In the third installment to the Bourne franchise sees our Jason Bourne as he continues his search for information about his past before he was part of Operation Treadstone and becomes a target of a similar assassin program. Lots of fights, chasing on foot & in cars… still very enjoyable for me!

Follow-up to The Bourne Identity is another enjoyable espionage thriller with Jason learning more of his past as he is once more enveloped in a conspiracy involving the CIA and Operation Treadstone. The chases, fighting and action is non-stop!

I also really enjoyed the first Bourne movie, I just bought the recently released Zavvi steelbook so hoping to rewatch it soon 😊 -

🥤🤠 🎬 Really enjoyed the way the film started out with Jason floating on top of the water and the crew bringing him onboard and helping him as much as possible. They find a laser projector under Jason’s hip that gives the number of a safe deposit box in Zurich and Jason decides to go investigate. Jason has no memory of even who he is… a created Assassin by a clandestine conspiracy within the CIA. The thriller goes on with each frame of this film and for me it is the perfect type of film that gets Veum’s highest ‘cup of tea’❣️ 5/5
