I really wish they would have made resurrections as a new “2nd” film. As a way to pick up the story after the first matrix and completely forget 2&3. Just override all the films after the matrix completely and forget they ever happened lol. Hopefully 4 does justice to the matrix story. 
 

So I honestly don’t mind premium retailers skipping over those movies at all.

Yep same! 2 and 3 weren't nearly as good as the first, but I really enjoyed the trilogy and always watch all 3 when on a binge

Personally, I really enjoyed Matrix: Resurrections, especially seeing Neo and Trinity again.

Yet, I was bummed that Hugo Weaving (scheduling issues) and Laurence Fishbourne (wasn't asked to come back?) did not return.

All of the metacommentary was delicious and very tongue-in-cheek. Can't wait for its MantaLab release tbh 😍.

Agreed with all of this. I really missed Weaving in particular. Looking forward to owning this on disc soon and seeing what premiums come from it.

I think this refers to the regular commercial release by Manta, and not a premium release by Collectong. Although the digibook sounds interesting.
