It’s the Blufans OAB release 😊

Too right it is

Blufans have some tremendous goodies

Hate the FAC fuss, WWA and still so much clamour for places. Ingenious marketing.. Made their releases for valuable than what they actually are

OAB still kicks FAC ar*se in my opinion..

Blufans all the way.

Manta and Blufans any day over the overhyped FAC

I have both (Blufans OAB & FAC) and the Blufans is much better than the FAC imho

I collect all the FAC, I know all the releases aren’t equal but a lot of them are very stunning 😊

Some would say that Blufans finally looked around at how other retailers do WWA releases.
Their OABs have been basic in comparison to the likes of FA and HDz.
Blufans/Fanatics seem to have looked round and learned from others. Now they are producing quality WWA releases, packed with extras. Rather than the bare bones slips, and a poster thrown in.
This release does look far better than FACs effort.
I am ashamed to say I actually own a copy of FAC Boh Rhap, although it is buried in the bottom of a huge storage box. ;)
The Blufans one does appear to be much better.
I just couldn’t bring myself to have two copies of such a crap film, even though I’m a huge supporter of Blufans. :D

I know this is completely unrelated, but I could've sworn you were British before... xD

Wow, some truly impressive pick-ups @RAK, @Veum and @Intentcoin  🤩

Thanks much for sharing your pics!

I hope I don't regret ordering the Lenti for "Bloodshot" as everyone that purchased the FS seem thrilled with it (for good reason).

It seems you bought both Veum. May I ask your thoughts on the Lenti?

Cheers.

Here are a couple of releases that I have wanted for quite a while! Thanks so much to John @Masterblaster for Jurassic Park! Such an awesome release for one of my favorite movies of all time. Beetlejuice is the way nicer U.K glossed and embossed release! It popped up on ebay, sealed and mint, for a great deal! Hopefully HDZeta gets to their premium of Beetlejuice soon. I’ll put this steel in there with the 4k disc👍

This might be the best use of holofoil I've seen, the "particles" are so small that you dont really get the rainbow effect but its very shiny. Looks like polished silver almost

Fantastic pickups! I am not familiar with BloodShot, but that full slip is freakin incredible!! Is that a Nova release? Movie any good?

I thought I'd take the opportunity to display a few new eds as well. 🙂

Listing:

- The Man Who Laughs (1928) Eureka. slipped amaray. I am AMAZED we have such an incredible release of this old classic! Very anxious to spool this up.

- The Game (1997) Arrow. Huge chipboard slip-case with HC book and loaded with extras. So glad I elected to grab this.

- Under The Shadow (2016) Second Sight. slip-cased with booklet. An Iranian spooky with a Djinn attempting to possess a young girl. Have yet to view but trailer looks quite cool.

- 20K Leagues Under The Sea (1916) Kino Lorber. Another silent screen gem from KL providing the 1st iteration of Verne's work.

- Curse of the Faceless Man (1958) Kino Lorber. More atomic scare nightmares from the '50s (my jam!).

- Fantomas (1913/14) Kino Lorber. An incredible collection of 5 of the best from this series of French silent classics. Pre-WW1 spies and crime-lords up to dastardly deeds!

I am in absolute awe at the amount of silent films we've seen released by a number of labels in the past couple of years.

Better than hot popcorn! (well, not quite but really really good!)  😀
