Wow, that is a beautiful display @Pbsw23 😍. Looks terrific, really shows hoe awesome those SBs are 👍. 

You must have some room left to be able to display only 4 SB and 3 comics in a shelf. I have to include 300 comics in one and place SB before that 😅🤣

Oh there are Many Many more comics stored away. I am buying more comics these days than steels & Pops! 😂🙌🏼

 

This display was intended purely for Marvel WEA’s, so I can lose the display comics and get another 8 steels in there. All my other steels are in the shelves below these displayed, but there really isn’t much space left.

 

This year I am planning on turning my Garage/Gym into a proper man cave, complete with comic and pops display, (plus all the other random Marvel goodies I have kicking around) but I have to re-roof it and properly insulate it first. 😆

I’ve been spending the evening/night putting on Steelbook protective sleeves for my Steels/4K and the little I had from MP protective boxes to them.

 

Ordered some protective boxes from MP store tonight... I have many more to go, woe is me! 😅

Heres how how it all looks right now. Still not the finished article, as I have comics on the way to swap out some of those currently on display, plus a couple of Pops that will alter it all again. Of course, I also have a hit list of Steels, Comics & Pops to try and source which are getting harder to find at a decent price, but I feel it’s really coming together now. Hope you all like it.

I’m mostly looking for comics that tie up with the movies, or at least have a cover that relates, like the Hela Variant. I also have & look for “First Appearance” comics like the first appearance of Ronin, & the first time Falcon becomes Cap for example. The very top row of 8 comics isn’t what I will go with long term, they were just ones I pulled out to test the look. I will keep the foil cover IM, WM & Dr. Strange up there, but the others will probably get swapped out. 

 

The Hulk issue behind the Steel has Abomination & Hulk on the cover, The Cap issue behind TFA has Red Skull battling Cap and says “To the Death”.

I am currently waiting for a delivery of Spider-Man Unlimited #4, which is Mysterio battling Spidey to go next to my Far From Home steel, but you get the idea. There will be lots more changes yet. 😁👍🏼

one question as this your display are you buying other stuff and storing and then changing round as time goes on so in effect becomes a living thing?

i know some people do that.

Everything else (Not duplication of movies) are on the shelves below @Basil 👍🏼 I should be good for another year or 2 in terms of space.

 

The only movies I have duplication of are Marvels (Nova, Zavvi, Kimchi Capt America for example) and those are all in separate cabinets.

 

I am constantly changing it, but more down to finding the missing pieces I am after 😊

Just finished a re-jig of the display and had the old microfibre cloth & polish out. Obviously following the sad news of Chadwick Boseman’s passing, I felt Black Panther needed a little bit more focus than I had previously. 🙅‍♂️

 

Dying for WeETs Captain Marvel to finally land, and there’s an obvious spot for End Game once someone finally announces an End Game WEA. I’ve worked out that I probably have enough Marvel stuff to fill twice this over, but can equally change things up to add a further 8 WEA’s without expanding. The rest will just all have to stay stored away until I can finally afford an extension & proper home office/media room.

 

I had planned to move it all into my Man Cave, but I’m concerned about damp as it’s an out-building so decided against it. WEA’s Blufans Venom, FA Logan & Manta DP2 have all gone away again for now, as I’m keeping it MCU (Except for the very top comic/large Pop collection) and even had to box away my MCU Movie Moment Pops ☹️ But they will return one day.

 

Anyway, this is my Pride & Joy as it stands today. 😊🍻
