  1. Welcome to MP @ProngstheWhovian and thank you for your nice introduction. Our members have a wide variety of tastes so there's lots of stuff to explore. I haven't heard of a premium for Moulin Rouge, but there might be one. Maybe another member might know.

We have a section called Special / Collector Groupbuys for retailers like WCL and MLIFE that focus on more niche titles. For example, UHD Club is doing Les Miserables which might interest you. Have a look!

If you have any questions, just tag (use the @ and member name) or send a PM to one of the staff and we'll be happy to assist you.

i have been on a hunt for someone to make me a few custom steelbooks (i realize i am new) however it is unfortunate i can not use paypal (removed a card to add a new one who knew that would make it stop working)

Hi @arjunpatel939 and welcome to MP. Making custom steelbooks that turn out nice is a pretty big task. However, some of our members do this for their own enjoyment. You can try looking at this thread and asking @BobaFett1974 for some pointers so you can give it a try.

Which male porn star do you think you'd be most suited to play if a biopic was to be made about him?

    John Holmes

    Ron "The Hedgehog" Jeremy

    Peter North

    Johnny Sins

Definitely Peter North, although I'd need a reduction surgery to get down to his manhood size.

Well, the early digital mock-up shots did not look appealing to me at all, so I passed. Ksosk’s latest beauty shots are much more appealing, and I probably would have joined the GB if they had been posted before the GB closed. That said, I have no lingering regret. It saved me $80-100. There will be other premium Interstellar releases in the future, I’m sure, and Interstellar is not a movie I am head-over-heels in love with.

Hi @DarthEd I certainly understand your frustration. These new photos do look amazing! However, I think the beauty shot in the OP is a pretty fair representation of the final product. The photos that @ksosk just posted are not beauty shots at all, but actual in hand photos of the finished product (production samples I'm guessing). It's the same with other retailers as well, first the beauty shot and then later on you might get some early photos of the actual product (which shows more detail, close-ups of embossing/debossing or a short video of the lenticular effect). In any case, UHD Club has consistently produced superior editions so I always give them the benefit of the doubt.

well here goes, be interesting to see your answers :D

you can make a film, any type of film and direct that film and have any actors you would like with money no object.

what type of film would it be, what would be your storyline and  who would be in it?

I’ve always had this fantasy that one day we could make new movies and TV shows by using every image and sound recorded and stored from beloved originals. For example, new episodes of Star Trek TOS with all the original actors in their prime. Get a collection of new scripts from the best sci-fi authors in the world and use computers to essentially create new episodes from every image, gesture, facial expression, spoken word, etc. on file (with some filling in the gaps). The same could be done for sequels to classic movies or TV shows that ended abruptly without a proper conclusion. More Firefly anyone?

The payment for deposits or anything store related, can also be found under "Store -> Orders". But as @Benoit46 and @deckard99 said anything else (GBs, shipping...) would require selfmanagement via spreadsheet or something comparable.

@Trianna Unfortunately, deposits no longer appear in the MP store since we are collecting them directly on PayPal now.

What life skills are rarely taught but extremely useful?

Hmmm...that's a tough one. I think DIY (do-it-yourself) in general has greatly tailed off over the years. Growing up me and my friends would work on our cars (oil changes, new belts and plugs, new mufflers, new car stereo and speakers, simple repairs, etc.) Build and fix electronic stuff. Do my own plumbing and electrical too. I don't see those skills being passed down anymore or being self-taught.
