No they are smart and don't announce 57 titles that aren't approved and make us wait 17 years to just c@ncel them.

 

Announce, pre-order, ship, repeat....

Hello. This is SM Life Design Group.

Last but not least, <Encanto: Magic World> released on March 30, 2022, home entertainment (DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD) under the Walt Disney Company (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios) All titles have been released. Therefore, please note that from March onwards, Walt Disney titles can be purchased depending on the stock availability of each vendor. Many thanks to everyone who has purchased and loved Walt Disney Home Entertainment titles over the years.

The release of titles from other existing brands except for the Walt Disney brand will be operated in the same way as before.

Looks like it, except for anything that might already be under contract. So now the only Asian country left for Disney/Marvel physical releases is Japan 😭

edit: Taiwan too, but probably just for WWA steels.

For the avoidance of doubt (And I appreciate there is still an element of guess work here) does this only relate to the movies themselves? Or is it possible we could yet see disc-less releases? 
 

They way things are going (World events) I guess we will have to keep our fingers crossed for a decent line (start collecting them ALL over again) from a new American pretender? Just who will Disney allow to release such products?
 

Zavvi premiums stink. FA are Super unreliable. And I’m guessing a Marvel/Disney contract would be too big for most of the other Non-Asian distributors.

 

As a back up plan, @ksosk How do you fancy starting a line of beautiful FS that we can hide our remaining WWA’s in? 🤞🏼😂
