We have opened the GB for the 3 UHD Club The Lord of the Rings. As these will be released individually members can request each movie on their own, anyway we will give priority to members that want all 3 movies (if necessary, also why would you request only one, it does not make any sense 😅). Keep in mind each movie is limited to only 200 copies in a wooden box 😲. These are not going to be cheap, keep that in mind before joining (we don't have more info on the price yet). There will be NO OC box and I assume that we can also not guarantee the same number for all 3 movies (that surely would be cool maybe UHD CLUB will make it possible).

It's a good thing that I held off from joining the GB HDzeta Trilogy, although there are steelbooks out there, I still hope that these individual wooden boxes will make an more electrifying impression at the end  Can't wait to see some beauty shots

Same. I tried to look back at other UHD wooden cases and they seem around $110. That wouldn't be too bad if these end up around that.

After the HDZETA release this will really have to be some special artwork - that release seemed to use all the major artwork. I am ready to leap once the BS are here (if there are any left!)

My thoughts as well. I saw the GB notice @ 5am, debated for about 4 hours, and pulled the trigger. Also couldn't help going for The Hobbit and Godfather (only 1 and 2 though...)

This is my current dilemma at the moment. On the one hand, it's LOTR so I'm definitely...most likely...probably gonna pull the trigger. On the other hand, I want to see the artwork choices and I have to like them lol. And even though I couldn't swing the HDZeta trilogy financially, I'm still mad at myself for not grabbing those. So this UHD trilogy would be redemption of a sort....

 

I don't want to be a responsible adult at a time like this lol.

For me, it’s more if they pick artwork already used on the slips/OC box. I got the impression that WB were fairly rigid with the choices for HDZ - I’m hoping it’s something unique (and there is space left on the GB!)!

im fearful to get 9 UHD Clubs all within weeks/months of one another. 
I tend to say f it and deal w the fallout - but I’m just unsure of the release schedule - If it were 1/month I’d feel better. 
anyone know the planned release schedule ?

The three series announced are intended to be spaced between this summer and the end of the year, but that’s just an estimate.  
 

if you sign up for these you should be prepared to pay for them no matter what the release schedule ends up being.

I’m not sure where you got that price, but it certainly doesn’t include shipping costs and fees nor take into account that these have been announced as “not going to be cheap”.  

I would expect these to be the most expensive UHD club releases so far, so plan accordingly.

I am the same way. If these were released with a much larger time difference I probably would get all of them. As the GB are all going up at the same time and already having Gold Label LOTR and Silver Label Hobbit, I really can’t justify getting them all. I’m just going to get the Godfather trilogy as I don’t have a premium already for those releases.
