my american friends can i ask you a question as not knowing your laws out there?

 

i just see on the news about the poor teacher getting shot by the 6 year old and by the sound of it quite deliberately. time will tell.

 

it says they arrested the 6 year old, question is this i get allowed to own guns but are they not meant to be locked up in a gun cabinet like over here or can you leave them lying around a house not locked up , when not in use?

to stop this exact thing?

 

also if they are meant to be locked up are the parent gun owner going be locked up held accountable?

 

anyway best wishes to the teacher and her family and the other children that should not of witnessed this 🙏

@Basil it is the fault of the parents IMHO and I hope they are held accountable (the law can depend on each state what will happen to those involved, at the moment I do not know the law requirements in that individual state though).

 

You do not have to keep them locked up in a cabinet though. A shotgun under the bed is needed in this Wild, Wild, West type of society anymore, unfortunately!! 😔 

 

Our society over here in the USA 🇺🇸 has gotten totally out of control. The parents today are just as bad as the youth today… it is in no way like my childhood, sorta like “Leave it to Beaver, Any Griffith, Dennis the Menace” era.

 

I sure miss those days so much now! 😞

Christmas holiday weekend. And end of my little vacation. On Monday, back to stress. To real life.

 

Sometimes disconnecting is essential.

 

I am more and more convinced that we have to take care of our own peace of mind. After the pandemic, people are very susceptible, and everything is more difficult. You have to mark the differences.
