Media Psychos Diskino (MLIFE & WCL) Award

Welcome Media Psychos Members!

 

We all here on Media Psychos share a common love for movies and the way they are presented to us. Many are especially fond of Steelbooks, but on Media Psychos we love diversity in our members and editions. So we're very happy to introcuce to you our newest award.

 

It will be the Diskino Collector award, which includes the MLIFE & WCL Premium labels and the regular Diskino releases.

 

We're very proud about our great relationship with Diskino and that we were able to make these known to many collectors around the world. Thanks to @ksosk for all the great work he has done.

 

Like the previous collection awards it will also have multiple stages. Each stage will be harder to get and we will introduce the other stages at a later point.

 

1st Stage: Diskino Collector (Members need 10 Editions to get this, MLIFE, WCL and regular Diskino releases count towards this award)

2nd Stage: Diskino .... (will be introduced when Stage 1 has reached at least 50 submissions)

 

To get the Diskino Collector award and follow up awards or other retailer awards you are required to have a specific amount of releases from that retailer and you have to show us a nice picture of that, really simple. The picture has to include your Media Psychos member card or other Media Psychos stuff, it can be a simple piece of paper on which you write your member name @ mediapsychos.com (for example). It really doesn't take that much time to add something like that and makes the pictures even more exciting for the community.

 

For the Diskino Collector award, you need 10 editions from the MLIFE / WCL / DIskino lines. Please be aware that MLIFE & WCL releases with more than 1 movie included count for as many movies they have inside towards this award. As these are not only super rare but also get assigned multible numbers in the official MLIFE & WCL counting.

The sad truth is that I don't qualify for the Diskino Collector award yet ? I still wanted to show my 2 Editions with the awesome bonus cards and sticker @ksosk did for our members ?

 

I also want to thank @larson1977 for suggesting the award here ?, we had it planned but had to introduce it early now ?

 

How you present your editions/picture is up to you, but please remember to qualify for the award, your picture has to include your Media Psychos member card or other Media Psychos stuff, it can be a simple piece of paper on which you write your member name @ mediapsychos.com (for example).

 

The award will be given to you when I or another team member checked your picture, you can tag me if you like.

I was curious, does the MLIFE 3 film collection of "El Mariachi"/"Desperado"/"Once Upon a Time In Mexico" count as a single release (as they are boxed together) or as 3 releases?

The answer will determine whether I post my collection now, or later...😉

I'm good either way though. I have more of their treasures in the pipe...

That is a very good question. I did not think about that yet. MLIFE had several Trilogy Sets or 2 movie stuff in the past and they are bigger than other releases 🤔 and they also give them 3 or 2 numbers...

 

So my decision is

 

 

 

Those releases will count as for as many movies are inside! As they also count in the numbering from MLIFE or WCL as multible and are also very rare.

Thanks much for the decision my friend @extantsrevenge!

When I heard that the MCU 'Phase 1 & 2'sets were going to count as multiple releases for the Marvel Award, it got me thinking about the MLIFE and WCL criteria.

I think your decision is fair buddy, as I do consider each film as stand-alone releases, though they are of course, sequels.
