Most of you already know Media Psychos is a proud distributor of the great MLIFE releases. @Masterblaster & @ksosk are the drive behind us (able to) get(ting) these very limited, awesome releases. And some of you know I'm a big fan of them. SO........

 

Get ready and deserve your Media Psychos MLIFE Award (heck.... this way I made MP obliate to provide an Award Logo, LOL ?) and show a minimum of 5 editions (yeah I think 5 is already much knowing these releases are extremely limited, but not for us at MP!)

 

@modteam; feel free to adjust anything in the OP ;)

These releases are just amazing. The Rambo Trilogy box has a great finish and for example the Split & Get Out releases have the greatest art work available for these movies. For me MLIFE is one of the upcoming retailers and certainly already in my top 5 :)

I have more WCLs than MLIFEs as I love the classics. My recommendation for this award was 10 MLIFE/WCL as they are 2 lines from the same retailer. ?

? way to go @larson1977 be assured there is no way we would leave those out of our expanding award program. You might want to give it a little bit more time, but it will come for sure as these are very dear to @ksosk and MP.

@larson1977 I renamed this topic to Media Psychos Award Suggestion Topic. This way all Members have a place to share their ideas for Awards they would like to have on MP.

 

The Diskino Award will be coming soon, please share your pictures in that topic again, to receive the award ?

Oh. Bad Idea - I have a lot of ideas for Awards.

  • Steelbook Award (for a certain number of "plain old" Steelbooks, without fullslip around them)
  • Series Award (for all that wonderful TV Series people love to collect)
  • Special Boxset award (I am thinking about releses such as the "Harry Potter Castle"-Edition, or the "Harry potter Wand"-Edition, the Dexter Bloodslide Box, the Six Feet Under Gravestone-Box, the Inglorious Bastards Box, etc. - everything that comes in a bulky Box with some really special unique idea)
  • Lenticular Award (for anything Lentiuclar related)
  • Mediabook Award (for all those lovers of things to read while watching the movie)
  • Movieprops Award (for all those loving to hold items in their hands that appeared in movies)
  • Busts Collectors Award (the name says it)
  • And of course: Other Labels such as:
    • Plain Archive
    • Mantalab
    • Black Barons
    • Nova Media
    • KimchiDVD
    • Steel Archive
    • ...

I would like to see an Award for the most Helpful or Loyal Psycho ... 

 

maybe make this award avaialbe once a quarter of year or maybe even monthly but that it be given to only those very special Psychos...

 

Get a few names and Staff vote and pick one for the award.

I think that several specific awards for certain editions (an award for a particular title) are to be expected, given the scarcity and difficulty of obtaining them...

 

Titles like :

- as above so below FAC

- The wolf of wall street FAC

- The rock boxset BLUFANS 

- Black hawk down FAC

- Up boxset BLUFANS...

We already have Helpful Psycho. For "most", why not poll members as they are the ones being helped?

I think there should be an “gold status” award for members who are dedicated  to Media Psychos threads and discussions.

 

I have seen a lot of our members joining MP solely for Group Buys yet participating actively on other forums (not to mention joining multiple groups buys for limited releasess).

 

We want our members to participate in our threads as well rather than joining group guys only.

To follow that members with this award get the privilege over other members within the same tier on limited Group Buy. Just my suggestion ?

Well, Gold is technically taken, but maybe there could be sub level awards for contributions, like 16k, 24k, etc.

 

a problem with privilege on GBs is it's subjective and likely would be controversial, IMO.

Do we have an award for Pics Shared? Or Number of steels in collection maybe with different tiers? GBs participated in Also. Maybe even specific Genre awards? Like Horror fanatic ect....

I think this is a good one; goes to @DParadigm's suggestion of awarding contribution to the community. That's not to say the others aren't good too, but we still have a number of retailers to get through. ?
