I had a disappointment last week when I received my copy of "viilage of then Damned" collectors edition from shout factory via wowhd and I found out "naked", no slip cover. Now Im a bit wary...

From the Criterion site;

 

”Only certain releases have slipcovers. For those that do, slipcovers are guaranteed for the first three months after a product’s release date. Once that three-month window has ended, slipcovers are no longer manufactured, and are only available while supplies last.”

Slips always seem to be a crap-shoot as of late.

it's upsetting, to be sure and I have more than a few Blus that should have come with a slip but did not.

I have no recommendations that would guarantee you a slip, other than an edition on Ebay with a pic showing it.

Retailers lately don't seem to give a damn if you get a slip or not.

I expected one with "Troll" and no joy.

I expected one with a few Vestron releases and no joy. I had to track them down on secondary market sellers and I'm still slipless for my ed of "Gothic" after ordering the film TWICE.

 

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, retailers just do not care whether you get one or not.

It's sad but that's my experience.  😧
