Who doesn't love waffles?

 

We have to put some kill questions in the form to create an account in the community:

• Do you like waffles?
• Do you gawk at your collection for longer than your visitors, neighbours and other random people?
• Do you respond with the dark force of a thousand gods when someone tells you that buying collector's editions is a childish hobby?
• Do you support your colleagues who sometimes eat ramen all the time?
• Do you always honour your payment commitments no matter what?
• Do you understand the difference between being part of a community and taking advantage of a community?

And this is the honesty check question, to see if they are telling the truth:

• Do you think you will be able to restrain yourself and not spend more than before on collector's editions?

If the answer is "yes", that person is honest and respectable; if the answer is "no", that person is a bot or worse.

Did you watch @Veum? What a race! That last pass by Newgarden was insane. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to see it in person this year. Definitely a spectacle, that's for sure.

Yes @hansreinhardt watched on DVR and it was SPECTACULAR❣️🏎 … ‘Ol buddy of mine might get me a ticket for ‘24! 🙏  👍

 

The only time I went to the race was in ‘67 from a friend and his dad (had to talk my mom in letting me go 💕)… A.J. Foyt the winner, My fav Parnelli Jones couldn’t finish, rats 😞

That's fantastic, fingers crossed that ticket comes through for you! This weekend was my first 500 and I was totally blown away. 

 

I haven't seen those, I'll definitely check them out, thanks for the recommendation! I actually just finished a behind-the-scenes documentary about prepping for the Indy 500, been working on it for the last 5 months, I'll send you a link when it's online if you're interested. I wasn't even a fan of motorsports, but I am now!

I missed this—that's insane, my goodness. All down to a $6 transmission bearing! I'm sure it was an awesome experience back in '67, I've heard many talk fondly about the 500 back in those days.
