I certainly hope you're right and will try to join you in your optimism.  But . . . an 83 year old using his own money on a film, when he's never directed something as technically difficult as this, I'm skeptical this will end well.  I welcome being wrong.

@hansreinhardt still under the weather a bit (not nearly as bad as from last Sunday through last night with all that hacking cough and scratchy throat, lack of quality sleep 🥱 and unfortunately my wife caught it from me and she as well as me have not been sick for many years 😔) and I can see getting better soon, unfortunately since I’ve not caught a virus like this in many years, the virus can still linger months longer then I want or need… thanks for asking in my health my friend! 🙏

Glad you’re feeling a little bit better friend, fingers crossed your wife feels better soon! Those days long viruses/colds are the worst.

Yeah, I’ve been sick all week and my wife was sick last week.  With two little kids, we live in a Petri dish…

Psychos pray 🙏 for our fellow 🇺🇸 as there were several deaths in the South with these deadly January tornadoes on Thursday  🌪 😢

Quote

Due to a exceptionally warm winter, and extremely rare setup, developed the worst winter outbreak ever, the most amount of deaths in a winter outbreak, the most costliest winter outbreak, and the most amount of tornadoes in a January tornado outbreak. This outbreak brought exceptionally large hail, going all the way up to 6.7 inches, and killing 7 people. $2.1 billion in damages due to hail, falling just behind Denver, Colorado hailstorm in damages.

Quote

At least seven people, including a child, were killed Thursday as severe storms swept across the South, where ferocious winds sent residents running for cover, blew roofs off homes and knocked out power to thousands.

Damaged power lines, severed tree limbs and debris littered streets in Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky, where at least 35 preliminary tornado reports were recorded as of Thursday evening, according to the Storm Prediction Center.

Is there any place here for people to share philanthropic organizations?  Or is that something that we don't do?  Not meaning high pressure or anything, just a link and a brief description.

If not, all good, just curious.

I like it but there isn’t a specific place that I can see.

I’d imagine in “general chat”/“blowing off Steam”….but let’s see what @extantsrevengehas to say.

I had this fear it may be seen as too much of a "values" statement, or too . . .  I don't know . . . too something.  I'll standby until you all can chime in.

I have no clear answer to that, as it never came up before. This will have to be decided by @Masterblaster. Will get back to you.
