Yes there will only few left or what the staff decide how much they will increase. Usualy gold will have more open spots when it will open. So folow this thread to be sure to get notification when the infos will drop

Gotcha! So I just need to follow this thread. I was nervous thinking I had to make myself stand out somehow as a new regular member. 🥲 I would love a Gold or Platinum membership. It would be great to get some of these Nolan releases I’ve missed out on for years due to not knowing about this.

should be able to get a gold. might have to be quick to get platinum since you are regular member right now. happy with platinum but I am curious how they are going to do the diamond membership and how many. I think @Veum said he would stop posting gifs if he was diamond lol.

Your best bet, depending on if plats and gold will increase or stay the same, is to get a gold your first go round. When next year membership renewal drops, you'll get a better chance at plat. Many members took that route in the past. Many people jump to plat once they spend a year as a gold member since gold members get a first shot at plat once plat members renew theirs or give their slot up.

Memberships are limited. There’s just a certain amount of them available.

 

Current tier members will have priority to renew their memberships starting with Platinums. IF any member(s) decide to not renew, then those platinum memberships will be available to current Gold members to Upgrade their memberships. IF there’s any platinum left after that, then it will be open to regular members (Not very likely).

 

Then the Gold Membership will open to Current Gold Members to renew their memberships. IF any member(s) decide to not renew, then those Gold memberships will be available to regular members.

 

The process of upgrading membership and getting membership for the first  time being a Reg Member is first serve, first gets. So yeah, you have to be super fast. 😉😉

 

 

Anyways, this has being the process but doesn’t mean it will be the same one for the next cycle. Let’s wait for John to release the next cycles process. 🤓🤓

I really believe that the more group buys a member participates in, the higher their chance in obtaining a premium membership.

 

There are Platinum members that I've seen admit that they don't participate in many GBs throughout the year, but they still get the membership to support Media Psychos. I also think some of them get it as a status symbol.

 

In my view, if you really want to support MP, then donate to them without expecting a membership from them.

 

With limited memberships available, my chances of getting a membership myself are slim to none. In the short time I've been a regular member here, I've participated in many GBs. I believe I've earned preference because of this.

 

The more GBs you participate in, and essentially the more you purchase, you're showing more support to MP. Because of this, your chances of receiving a premium membership should correlate. I should be rewarded for that.

 

That's fair. The way it is at the moment, its a game of chance, and that doesn't sit right with me.

With shipping, hub fees, etc. be ready to spend atleast $100.. that's just for a FS or Lenticular, OC is a bit more. Each will more than likely cost around that ballpark. The convenient part is that you are secured a copy depending on number of each edition and how many tiered members join the GB... usually there's enough for everyone. Good luck!

 

P.S. I would suggest to check the forum daily to see if the GB has launched.
