So this is one of our coffee table books (actually on an ottoman):

 

 

Probably saying things most people here already know, but Tippett is responsible for some of the most famous effects work of the last 40 years.  Empire Strikes Back, Jurassic Park, etc.  Anyway, he made a film and I keep waiting for it to show up on my streaming services, never does, but the bullet and bought the disc:

 

 

And just arriving from beautiful Italia because they aren’t selling it in the states yet:

 

 

 

 

 

Saw this at the theater closest to my house, which I don’t go to often because they don’t seem to know how to project a movie properly.  Standard performance when I saw this one; though I still enjoyed the movie I think this may end up looking better at home in 4K than it did in the theater.

First Premium arrival of 2024 and it's definitely underwhelming, though hardly surprising given the images shown prior to its release.

 

It's a bit sad when the highlight of the packaging turns out to be the booklet, especially for such a masterpiece. Could have been a lot better.

So my sister hooked me up last week at Walmart; they received 2 of each of these Mondo titles and she immediately snatched up one of each:

From awesome effects artist Phil Tippett, finally made his own film.  I’ve seen nothing like it, though I’m sure it’s not for everyone.  Highly detailed stop animation, dialogue-free, violent and gory as hell.  All kind of strange creations, most of them at least a little creepy.  I was fully engrossed the entire time.

It's been a long time since I posted on this thread, even though I've received many editions since.

 

What you're looking at is my FAC Predator Maniacs Box.

 

I've been waiting for this for such a long time.

 

Not too long ago, I received my Blufans The Great Gatsby OC, and it was opened by the Australian Border Force. I was devastated as I am mostly a keep'em sealed kind of a guy.

 

As you can see, the Australian Border Force has been at it again.

 

Gatsby's outer OC seal was broken, but the editions within remained intact.

 

I want everybody to guess what I will discover when I open this box.

 

I'm not going to lie.. I am scared.

with my experience, each time I received a package sent with EMS, it had trouble with customs, but I always got chance, packages was never opened, just got a tax to pay.

so my advice, try to avoid EMS , I know sometimes you don't have the choice, the sellers does not ask you which method of shipping you'd like. 

EMS = expedited shipping delivery. 

 

but for your question ... it will be a surprise, you may have a person at customs who really does not care and damaged your item.

or you may have a person who just opened the package and taking care not to damage the product.

I got the 4K Amaray, then it goes into my custom steelbook, but it doesn't have any embossing,

But it looks better, pictures will come in about 3-4 months
