Sold the bland looking OCs and never bothered to get the MB, thank God! My regular shoeboxes look sturdier than this expensive glorified box.

Ordered both, awaiting the yellow box from Arrow and undecided whether to cancel the red box from Amazon. I agree the latter has better artwork inside. What made me order the yellow box after ordering the red box was the Chinese characters on the front.

Considering myself lucky to get an early copy, but unlucky to get a messed up DL. BN still my favorite premium retailer even if there’re some QC issues. Beautiful set all around!

Challenge 32 To show my love for martial arts movies, here are my 3 entries: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon - Hero almost avoided a slow death from poison. Fist of Fury - Hero charged to his death with a flying kick and gut-wrenching yell. Hero - Hero sacrificed himself in a volley of arrows. Ultimate heartbreaking death: SPL - Hero shockingly pushed out of a high-rise after he won the fight!

Challenge #23 So many genres that I like! If I have to pick just one, I’d say Martial Arts. Oddball choice, much neglected in terms of steelbooks, let alone premiums. Indeed, it’s not even listed in the challenge. Top 5 favorites: 1. SPL 2. Flash Point 3. Ip Man 4. The Raid (1 & 2 tie) 5. Ong-Bak (replacing Kiss of the Dragon since I no longer have a copy) And the movie that started it all - Fist of Fury.

You guys got it all wrong… it’s some other movie called Mathilda. 😅 Baffled why JR is not on the OC at all! Maybe because NP’s star has turned out to shine much brighter than JR’s? Maybe just maybe the folks at ML are so smitten with NP?? Also maybe because some Chinese still write from right to left??? Utterly disappointed to say the least!

Due to self restricted space, I usually stream new films first before deciding whether to get a physical copy. Now as the collection keeps growing, I’ve reluctantly started to keep only the ones I can’t live without.
