Nice pick-ups, and I really dig that District 9 Steelbook. That movie was such an underrated gem, would love a sequel.

Yes a sequel would be great if done correctly. Alot of people had a problem with the art but it's better in hand I'm almost never disappointed when I get steelbooks in hand.

Hey guys!!... Another arrival today... 

 

As I said before with the previous movies... I think this is a "Just OK release"... The whole series is ok. I think I feel that way mainly because of the "Special Gift" that doesn't have anything special... This time is a "Continental Card" wich I really like and it totally blows the previous "Special Gifts"... But I don't think it covers the lack of goodies... 

 

I think this Steelbok is the best of the 3... For me would be like:

#1- Red

#2- Green

#3- Blue

 

Also this Fullslip wins the series... This is a great and beautiful Fullslip...

 

And I think JW1 wins the Lentibattle... All 3 are really nice but the first one was great...

The Hateful Eight (KimchiDVD):
For me an absolutely great film, which deserves an absolutely great edition - and luckily Kimchi delivered. I like this FS best by far, the coverart and the colors really fit the flair of the film perfectly. When seeing it live, you also notice that the snow on the cover has a kind of glitter effect, which of course adds to the whole thing. Really a great piece, which I like to present in the showcase!

 

 

Looks awesome! I did the exact same thing with my Fac The Martian! I’d definitely love to get that Kimchi release of The Hateful Eight soon😁

Ya just got my lenti today! I love it, but that full slip looks fantastic! Love the continental card, it’s a lot nicer than i thought it would be. Really makes me wish they put in better “special gifts” with the first two. A gold coin and the adjudicator coin or oath marker would have been great, and really would have brought these releases up a few notches
