My apologies for being absent for a time but I was unfortunately quite ill for a spell.

I'm back home and doing quite well presently but I see I have much to catch up on.

I very much look forward to perusing the previous posts presented by our wonderful members and will provide feedback, quips of note and accolades, as appropriate. 😊

A little update guys!!

 

My AtA order for Jujutsu Kaisen S1pt1 has been shipped!!… Official release date was May30th, so this is a nice surprise. 😅😅

 

By the way, we are still waiting for those pics @Grendel sensei!!… 🤓🤓

 

Also, now that I’ve been lurking on the Japanese editions, looks like this set is super cheap compared with all the volumes (Vol 1-4) you would need and the art used is basically the same. Haha. Also the artcards are the same that come on those volumes.

Just finished watching that anime Bubble on Netflix... animation is simply stunning and the story is quite something else. Studio Wit, known for it's beautiful visuals that animated the anime Vivy Fluorite's Song is the studio behind this film... it's a must watch! 

 

 

I really hope they release a premium set because I will DEFINITELY buy the OC for this!

I just got the package peding from AtA!!!...

 

Jujutsu Kaisen S1 Pt1 Limited Edition!!... 😍

 

Looks great!! 

 

The Hardbox has a Matte base with some "glossy" printing on the characters... It's a sturdy nice box.

 

The digipack is super nice at touch... The art is beautiful... 😍😍 But I didn't noticed the info on the spine when I ordered... That absolutely kills the whole digipack design... Can't believe they did that!! I guess is a law in the UK or something... Cause that just doesn't make sense at all... 💔💔

 

Also comes with a 40p booklet and 8 big big character cards...

 

All in all a Fantastic release for an amazing Anime... Super happy!!!... Also got it at an amazing price on their Easter Sale ($47 and free shipping)...

Very hot! I might need to pick this up now. All the AtA releases have this spine, I've resigned myself to the fact the spines will be ugly.

I also have the Aniplex USA Mugen Train LE and the digipack is absolutely beautiful with no info at all… Just an amazing “landscape” digipack design.

I don't think it's a law but I'm not sure. I believe it's only on the AtA exclusives which have been designed by them. There are some items they are merely distributors for that don't have any AtA iconography. Here are some pictures from another collector I know that has many AtA releases:

Don't know how much interest there is for this anime, but Amazon Japan has some stock for a (new I think) Devilman Crybaby Blu-ray and CD set for around $205 USD shipped. I've not seen much on the release other than from the eBay listings currently up, but it looks to be high quality. the fate boxes have two dented corners but I can’t complain at 10000 yen.

Yeah I opened them when they arrived, the boxes are very sturdy (much more than your usual chipboard anime box.) more similar to a one click but not as thick. Each set has half a season spread across five discs, along with the soundtracks and audio dramas ( which are obviously in Japanese but apparently translations can be found on line).
Both Zero and UBW come with English subtitles but only the versions that come in two parts, the complete single box versions are Japanese only. Mandarake currently has Zero for 12000 yen (approx $90) which is actually half what aniplex are asking, it’s just a bit of a risk because they’re second hand sealed items and might have dings or dents.
