Today I got a copy of Arrow Video's steelbook of Mario Bava's Black Sunday. Another great addition to my horror collection.

Was able to score this cool lenticular edition of It Follows made by The Blue Collection and distributed by KimchiDVD.

Today I got this Criterion Collection edition of Scanners. @atomicblonde had me in a panic thinking it was going OOP, so I snagged one when I could. Turns out is was one of Criterions reissues without the DVD, which I'm fine with. I hate DVDs wasting space. I have no use for them whatsoever.

I got another copy of Scream Factory's They Live steelbook today to previous the damaged ones I received previously. since I've already posted that, I won't repost. I went SF direct this time though and for this sweet lithograph with it, so I'll post that instead.

Got this North American steelbook edition of Stargate today. I'm not sure where it originated, but it looks like a Futureshop. I'd been looking at the sold-out one Zavvi always has on their website, but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. Then this popped on Amazon for $13. Sold!

I got a couple things today. First is a replacement for my original UK Blade of the Immortal steelbook. That had a crushed spine. Here's the uncrushed one. I also got FNC ADD Culture's Fullslip edition of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Arrow Video's Limited Edition of Re-Animator. (I actually got these yesterday, but didn't get back to my computer!) ?

Received these beauties from Zavvi today. The UK Barbarella steelbook I caught on a restock and the Once Upon a Time in the West is newly released.

I got the Barbarella edition it has a really sweet steelbook nicely embossed with spot gloss and has the lovely Jane Fonda on it. ?

They are cool little slip covers too, nice clean front and back which mirrors the steelbook artwork. ?

@hdblueman @xSNAKExPLISSKENx I loved the artwork and I wasn't going to be happy with the new Paramount release, so I'm glad I was able to catch it. It was no $8, but it wasn't EBay prices either, at least.

Today I got the new Untouchables steelbook from Zavvi and even though it's not a premium, I'm pretty excited for this copy of Dawn of the Dead. It's been out of print and the rights are tied up indefinately so I've been on the hunt for this release at a reasonable price. This one was sealed with a price drop alert that coincided with an Ebay coupon. ?

I'm not particularly a fan of Watchmen, but I was down for a cheap Zavvi steelbook. It was a pleasant surprise that the back art is cool as hell. I also got this copy of Planet of the Apes yesterday. No, it's a special edition, but the slip art jumped out at me, especially for $6 including digital.

Picked up my copy of the Black Panther Best Buy 4K Steelbook today.

 

 

 

I went to Target to look at their Digipack, but found it underwhelming and left it on the shelf.

I found it much more entertaining than most of the Marvels. Yeah it takes some suspension of disbelief, but we're not watching Schindler's List here. I'll take BP over Iron Man any day. I've gotten to where I can't stand the Tony Stark character.

I liked it more than iron man, I'm just sayingbinonky need one edition. The beginning was awesome with the night scene where he goes house on those guerillas. Had me very excited then, I donno, it just got a little too Disney if you ask me. I didnt want yo watch Marvel's Lion king.... But it was good, just not my fav and I wish the BB steel was another in the line of Matt Fergusons art.

For anyone interested before I return it, I got my Target Digibook of Black Panther in the mail yesterday. I also snagged the limited edition classic double feature release of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn from Twilight Time (sale this week). I must've watched these 100 times when I was a kid, so I got them to show my little one.
