The Great Escape looks simple. But so do Jaws!

I am sure when the beautyshot for Jaws came out then, there were many who didn't like it!

Unfortunately, often the Studios dictate what is allowed for slip pics.

Still, I agree the Great Escape cover could have been a lot better.

I'm in for Heat (which is better than being 'in heat' I guess), though I suspect the cover will be very similar to those we've seen on previous releases.

I really wish wcl had held out until the inevitable 4k release of Heat to put this out..

At least with Great Escape I know the 4k scan from a few years back on bluray is the best we're going to get for the foreseeable future

We need more conversation on these boards, above/beyond exclaimations and core group buy updates: most importantly consideration of new editions against previous ones, details of the actual film quality in releases, etc. Means less cross-forum referencing I need to do😉

QUICK UPDATE:

I have forwarded our members' requests about making this release similar to 2001.

DIskino will consider, but it boils down to the material source as a boxset cannot be made without sufficient content.

@Grendel The draft art is very very different art from the movie poster!!

The feel is very classic and artsy. Hope it will be the final approved art 😃

I for one, sincerely appreciate it when companies go to the extra effort of making their releases as "unique" as possible.

We've seen some wonderful examples in the past by many of the Premium Retailers and I do hope the trend continues. 🤗
