They have so many cool releases, I am looking at some of the Vinegar Syndrome Archive titles now. 

 

I had missed out on the Thriller box edition, but I feel just as happy with the Slip edition. Very nice.

The slip still looks really good & hopefully will be a significant  improvement over my DVD release from years ago lol

 

They really do make some great editions & are up there with Arrow, Second Sight & 88 Films for me

I built my own, getting prebuilt configs like QNAP is way too expensive in the long run, especially when you pass 10 drives. Currently I should really start swapping out some old 2-3tb drives, but those Hitachi drives still run like champs 10years after new (Power on hours: 84516 (9y, 7m, 22d, 12h)) 🤩
But yeah, the only replacement is more space (drives) and mine is getting very close to being in dire need of more practical expansion room so a trip to IKEA is in the cards soonish!

Heh, you'd think so, but in my experience it doesn't - then again, it's my entire, continuously growing, library 😎

Couple things to share today.

 

Fist off, I know they aren't premiums but I want to give a quick shoutout to some of the recent Best Buy steelbooks. I am really enjoying the slips they are providing with some of them. They add a layer to the art and provide some built-in protection.

The Hurt Locker, The Cabin in the Woods, and Hell or High Water all came in last week. Even though they were packed in a bubble mailing envelope they somehow arrived undamaged!

Really liking these slips...

And the extra layer of design they can add - CITW is a great example.

Interior/disc designs

They really knocked it out of the park with the attention to detail on the Hurt Locker discs! The price tags, sharpie, and dirt markings all look absolutely authentic!

Next - Manta Lab Exclusive #029 - Joker

ML continues to be my favorite premium retailer. Their designs, attention to detail and quality are tough to beat IMO.

 

And last up is Blufans The Rock! I have been wanting a The Rock premium for a while and while I am still patiently waiting to see what MAG can come up with this Blufans editions is a great add to my collection!

Some great stills of movie moments. That flare shot is so epic.

Not that I have any of them, but I'm not sold on them. They add a art layer sure, but at the same time the steel itself should be complete art, instead they look naked without the o-ring.

It's one of my absolute favorite premiums and MAG better deliver some awesomesauce for theirs.

DVD-store.it is definitely my favorite nonpremium overseas retailer. Shipping cost is expensive, but more reasonable if purchasing multiple items.  This arrived from Italy to US in 3 days and was extremely well packaged by DVD-store.it.

 

I didn't want to risk FNAC sending them all with zero bubble wrap all bouncing around in the same box (even though they would have been much cheaper from FNAC), so just ended up with TDK from FNAC before realized DVD-store.it also carried these and bought the rest from them.
