Rocketman (Filmarena):
Before the question comes: No, I can't decide if I like Rocketman or Bohemian Rhapsody better. I don't want to, because the films don't go in exactly the same direction for me either. Rocketman goes even more in the direction of musicals - you can like that or not. Let's put it this way: I didn't mind it. On the contrary. The way Elton's songs were built into the film to symbolize different stations and emotional states in his life was just great. Especially since Taron Egerton is really a respectable actor for me by now, who played the character brilliantly. Conclusion: The flick is one of my favorites from 2019, but I will unpack the edition in the next few days, because I am planning a small project. I'll keep you posted.

As soon as BluFans (hopefully) releases the 1-click for "Rise of Mary Sue", I'm done with the franchise...🙂

I don't know why Ive Ent. could not have waited a few months and released their big Exclusive set of Akira with the 4K onboard.

Mind, they knew it would sell out regardless I guess and now, they get to release a set all over again in 4K, as Akira will sell, loose discs in a brown paper bag will sell... 😉

I would be anxious to hear your comparative analysis of the PQ/AQ on this new upscale when you've watched it my friend! 🙂

 

Oh, and "Zu Warriors" looks stunning!
