All the four Premium retailers in China packaged like that, I don't know whether they can do that in international shipping, custom can be a pain in the ass, the best international packaging I've seen is the Korean retailers, a box filled with bubble wraps

my collection, pretty mess, nearly half of them are Diskino，and Diskino's products are the most valuable in China, the most expensive one is The Last Emperor,I only got the first edition(it's a failed one, without disk, Diskino wanted to release the extended edition, but can't get the permission at first, so they cancelled that, and I missed the second released). Diskino now even earn the name around Chinese film industry, they can get some exclusive director commentaries, they even invited Huang Hai——the most famous poster designer in China to make artwork for their new release(Ne Zha,a Chinese animated film released last summer, I'm not sure whether you guys can enjoy it, but it made a lot of money, I think it's only ok, maybe it's because people have not seen a good animated film in years and also rest films released last summer are really really terrible , especially there was a Sci-Fi film, people really look forward to it ,thought it was Pacific Rim, turned out to be Atlantic Rim, so everyone went to watch Ne Zha ).

@ksosk 布鲁和泽塔起步比如今很多独家品牌都早，这点到挺让我惊讶的，毕竟那时候国内真的是盗版横行，街上音像店卖的都是盗版（不过如今实体店都没了），但如今真的给人感觉快日落西山了，因为销售只限于群里，外人压根就不知道，而且做的电影也是非常大众的，没太大竞争力，当然偶尔也会有一两个不错的产品，但我没想到在国外会这么火，UC老大倒是非常卖力的宣传，天天发朋友圈。如今国内最稳定知名度最高的就是碟影，碟影是真的在非常认真的做碟，而且现在有点cc，尤里卡的感觉，而且在国内的二手圈子，碟影的产品是最贵的，不知道啥时候能集齐。

Hi, everyone,actually I've been here nearly 3 months, and the reason I found this website it's that sometimes it's really hard to purchase Blufans and HDzeta in China, because only a few are released in China and rest of them just sell oversea, so I wondered how foreigners purchase these, since they don't even have a proper website(I did found a hdzeta website, but always the same things, never update)and that's how I found this website( it actually surprised me that Blufans and HDzeta are such popular oversea).And I want to talk to you about how this looks like in mainland China(I don't know whether there were people talked before) In China, only a very few people collect blu-ray, beccause my generation basically grew up with pirated, and I bought lots of pirated dvd back in high school.I started to collect blu-ray since college.Of course things have changed now, people pay to watch films……online, still not too many people collect blu-ray. And cost of living is lower in China, , a one year membership of a streaming website only costs around 200yuan(less than $30),just like a steelbook, so why should people buy steelbook? And there's no one around me collect blu-ray, even my roommate, we are both huge movie fans, we always go to film archive to watch classic films, but he has 0 blu-ray. Okay, maybe there's one guy, my former colleague, but he know nothing about blu-ray, what is steelbook? Or exclusive,etc...he just buy whatever the films he likes,I guess it's because he's rich and I'm poor, he doesn't care about fac,nova……, he just"take my money", and he put his collection on his table.I have to make choice , I can't waste my money on those shitty blue box, I don't even have a blu-ray player, only a small drive, after all I never unbox them. Here's a funny thing in China, people like me usually don't have a nice equipment, those who got good video and audio equipments, they enjoy PT. So Blufans and HDzeta are in a pretty awkward situation, especially they started very early, and the owners have their own business, bluray is just a part-time job,they can't make a living counting on bluray. We call zeta's owner zeda,da(大）means big, he's the NO.1 in HDzeta,zeda told us his company manufacture industrial equipment. Blufans owner is A-Blu, he(maybe his investor, I'm not sure) owns a shop sells stereo system(that's what I heard, and a guy who visited the shop said that he talked with salesman about Blufans, and he said his boss doing this just for fun ) . Blufans and Hdzeta have their own online chat group, and that's how we purchase in China, they will release the details of new product and notify you the time and release a link by the time. Blufans has a store on taobao(the biggest online shopping platform in China),so A-Blu releases the link of the item. zeda just release a taobao purchase link, always the same link, no pictures, just a blu-ray logo and marked second-hand beneath, he just changed the name of the product every time, he only update a new link when taobao disabled the old one. Like what I said, only a few released in China, and some popular products sold out in seconds, like recently Hdzeta's Inception and The Shawshank Redemption.,zeda said"Pre-order begin at 13:00", and they sold out at 13:00.So you can't wait until 13:00, you have to click the link at around 12:59:50, take some time to load the page, then, you might get it. Kind of like hunger game. Diskino and uhdclub also have their chat group. Actually uhdclub has several groups, a big main group, several small groups to order the products, and a gourp for people to trade. You order and pay directly to the admin(we call him brother xiang, I don't know what he do, media/news maybe, from what he posts),he invited people to the group everyday and always complain there're too many orders and UC doesn't have that many products while A-Blu and zeda basically stop inviting(There's a Blufans forum, zeda closed Hdezta forum years ago). But brother xiang try to make sure every one get what they want. Diskino only release news in the chat group, people purchased from retailers on taobao. VIP can get their item directly from company with fixed number, even some VIP exclusive, VIP are those who supported Diskino from the beginning, and purchased all the Diskino products, once you missed one item, your membership is revoked.I don't have a membership, like I said, I'm poor, and Diskino was found about when I graduated, I can't afford all the products, what a shame. And you must admit Diskno is totally different from rest of them, it does have a unique taste and beautiful artwork. Diskino release lots of classic films and even release the restored of some old Chinese films. It seems like Diskino is really trying to make it a proper blu-ray distribution company. It has its own official website, although the website only has information of Diskino's products(Thanks to taobao, basically no one set up their own online shopping website in China, they just open a store on taobao, even some other shopping website open a store on taobo) . So, that 's how things going in China, and you can find almost all the blu-ray fans in these 4 groups. Blufans and HDzeta are oldest, sometimes I feel their relationship are bit of like Damon and Kimmel, Blufans says people next door are selling empty box again, and HDzeta says people next door are selling second hand old product now, Diskino is a rising star, thinks they're old man and out of time., UC is a small kid and other three don't care about him. These are my views, just for fun.
