Well some recent arrivals didn't go so well. Zavvi released some Everything Blu editions. I keep this series sealed but the Hell Boy 2 they sent was busted open in their extraordinary packing.

 

The second was supposed to be EverythingBlu Hot Fuzz One Click but they sent The World's End Blu-ray, steelbook at least lol.

 

Edit: As I figured this would happen, they are sending a Hell Boy replacement and with the Hot Fuzz sold out I'm sure I'm screwed. "Hot Fuzz Limited Collector's Edition Steelbook is on special order for you with our supplier but at this time they are unable to give me a date for when they will have it back in stock."

Oh can I relate to this right now. Here are my recent Zavvi fails, both arrived opened & just beat to heck. I mean a sticker right on the slip & dirty fingerprints all over it?

Never thanked media psychos when I recieved these 2 one clicks from the group buys. So my usual thank you to all staff members involved in getting me these editions I appreciate it

Also the zavvi steelbook pin turned up today in a huge box filled with bubble wrap for a pin. I think they went over the top with packaging lol 

The pin itself is very nicely made though, I would recommend it.

Sorry to hear that.  So now even if we can somehow get an order into Zavvi before it sells out we have to be worried 1) the package actually arrives, 2) the package survives the trip, 3) the edition is still shrinkwrapped, 4) Zavvi doesn't put a sticker on the actual item, 5) it doesn't have a spine slash (reminiscent of Star Wars steels), 6) the edition is damaged before being packaged, 7) The J card isn't melted onto the steelbook (yes this actually happened), and 😎 Zavvi actually sends the correct item.  Oh dear.  Did I miss anything.🤔
