All thanks to the new SCF9s from Steelbook Central. 

As MP is the Official USA Distributor for these, you can expect stocks to be arriving soon. 

 

I’m not allowed one of those nice shiny cards like some members have, but I do have that particular bit of bling in the foreground ?

I'm surprised nobody has picked up on the Coaster. Only 18 of them in existence. Rarer than Rocking Horse S..t.

Real collectors piece. John had them made right back at the 'birth' of V2 Mediapsychos.

Oh it's a coaster.  I thought it was a DVD.

Thanks so much to MP and blufans. Epic steelbook, my favourite of the year! I was worried when it turned up (see pics in spoiler) but it's mint, ever so slight damage to the slip, but I can live with that.

@dahyl I think you got real lucky that it wasn't trashed. 

When |I first started collecting last |May my first big purchase was the Friday 13th Collection in the Black tin.  Cost me a few hundred dollars.  T|he box showed up looking like yours but it was empty.  

It was a terrible way to start off my new hobby.

@Kingpin @45Caliber Yeah, I think it was really close to being crushed. The 1/4 slip looks like it had been pressed hard against the steel as there is an imprint of the folded part of the side, on the back. But as I say steel is mint. I reckon if it was bubble-wrap instead I wouldn't have been so lucky!

Blufans told us they would resort back to foam cases for Thor. 

Bloody good job by the looks of the packaging. 

It does make you wonder what they do with these boxes in transit.
