NOVA John Wick: Chapter 4 (Novamedia Exclusive #43) (WEA Blu-ray Steelbook) [Korea]

EDIT: People really are confusing what's happening here. This lenticular is to align with the ORIGINAL John Wick Lenticular releases, back when O-Rings were done quite a lot for a premium release (glad that died off and the current HDZeta and Manta is the norm now). In regards to no 4K... So? Just buy a seperate cheaper 4K disc, it's not like we watch these anyway. ;)

Besides, just like the other films, they will release the more typical premium 4K's, just wait for those.

Do we have any idea if our other retailers (Manta Lab, Blufans, etc.) for MP will release a beauty WEA Lenti for JW 4? 🧐

Did any retailer except Novamedia release a JW premium in the past, Mike? I can´t remember except Filmarena doing the first one ages ago. So the answer ist probably NO,

But nothing is as constant as change........🤣

I was actually unaware that Nova had TWO Lenti lines for JW. I'm only familiar with the 4K Lenti fullslips, since those editions are the ones I've seen and I've been trying very hard to get. In general, I'm not a fan of the O-ring style of slips, but I suppose it's cool of Nova to release JW4 in that style to match the prior Blu-Ray editions. But only as long as they then follow up with the Lenti fullslip....😂

Only FA as far as ican remember and that was only the first film …NovaMedia are the only retailer to do the whole franchise in both  bluray with  O - Ring Lenticular slips and hopefully they’ll continue with the 4K editions with Lenticular FS …

Yes when they did the original it was a Fullslip, Quarter Slip, and a Lenticular O-Ring (No Box) Then they did the Second one with 2 Fullslips, A lenticular O-Ring, and a 1/4 slip OC W/Box. As they were dining the Second one they decided to sell separately an empty box for the first film to match the one they did for the second. Then they did the 3rd 2 Fullslips, Lenticular O-Ring, and a Quarter slip W/Box (And all these original ones were Blu-Ray) After all this they decided to rerelease Parts 1-3 in 4K steelbook. Each one was a Fullslip, and a Fullslip Lenticular.

What a lot of people don’t understand is it expensive for them to take a risk on 4K it doesn’t sell well in Korea which is something they have brought up before. I believe only because of how popular it was, and looking back at how well they sold out the OG Blu-Ray sets they decided to do the 4K sets. They waited out 3 films to decide to release it on 4K because it’s a big risk.

If anyone goes to there website they will find that there is very minimal films they acquire for resale that are 4K for this reason.
