Thanks for the contribution.

Alas, nominees (Lock up, The 355, ID 4-Ressurgence) dont count, only actual winners of the awards.

Still a walk in the park for you, mate, right?

Even with my collection I have only 6 available films so while i can participate I’m afraid most will not.

The awards only go back to 1980 and with the overlap between picture and actor/actress, the pool of available movies is about 75.   That’s really limiting I think.

but…it’s your challenge!!

challenge #27

These movies are fun to watch, even if they are often about some tragic events...but, most of us, love to see someone ass get kicked, for something bad he/she did - I guess.

I could have shown you just Korean movies (because they have so many great movies about revenge, maybe those filmmakers had a lots of bad experiences being bullied in school f.e. ;)), but I've found a lots of others in my collection ...

1. Kill Bill

2. Dead Man Down

3. Death Sentence

4. The Villainess

5. John Wick

6. I spit on your Grave

My most favourite revenge movie is Quentin Tarantinos Masterpiece Kill Bill!!!

Fans of Stallone will have the easiest time completing this challenge.

I’m surprised they didn’t rename the award after him; the man was annihilating the competition during the 80s & 90s 😅

@hal56

Just to set the record straight, I think your idea for this week’s challenge is quite original because it is basically a dare: “show us the certified stinkers in your collection”

But the real shock for me was that it came from you 😅 You’re one of the last persons in this community whom I thought would ever come up with something so completely opposite to the image I had of you.

I immediately knew this one was hopeless for me but for the fun of it, I went over the lists of every winner in the movie/acting categories.

My results:

1 winner - Sophia Coppola’s very deserving worst supporting actress award for The Godfather Part III

1 nominee - Danny DeVito’s incomprehensible nod for his magnificent turn as The Penguin.

So yes, I failed miserably in completing your challenge and

You hit the nail on the head about my intentions with this challenge.

Instead of being scorned for your worst movie purchases you will be getting awarded.

Ironic and an unexpected change, well deserved for showing your stinkers.😄
