Each time I see an edition of Melancholia posted I can't believe that I have still not seen the movie as it has Kirsten Dunst in it and I have basically seen everything with her up to a certain point. But each time I'm reminded again that the movie is from Lars von Trier and then I think about Antichrist and simply can't bring myself to see something from (please excuse me)

this piece of stop using inappropriate language. I was so offended by the absolutely disgusting Antichrist, that I said to myself "NEVER EVER AGAIN would I see anything again from this obviously mentally deranged person". Normally if I don't like a movie I simply vote a point and try to forget about it, but unfortunately I tortured myself and watched the movie until the end. I can honestly say that rarely a movie has evoked such negative feelings from me. I HATE IT SO MUCH.

I still haven’t seen Antichrist (and I even own one of those Korean LE amarays for it) because I know about the ✂️ and I feel like that’s the one thing I cannot take lol! I promise Melancholia is not as deranged… well, of course there’s a gloom in it but NOTHINGGG to the extent of what he did in Antichrist 🫣 One day you must give it a watch… Kirsten Dunst’s performance alone is incredible! This was the movie that really got me into independent films after I saw it in theaters years ago. It’s too bad the director opened his big dumb mouth and made the comment about understanding Hitler during press for the movie... his idiocy definitely cost Kirsten of getting Oscar and Golden Globe nominations (or really any - outside of Cannes I think) for her role

Also paramore, funny I knew paramore when they released their single Emergency and a couple of years later they became known worldwide thanks to ''DECODE'' a song they made for twilight.

Almost Half a BILLION Views ...seems the haters secretly enjoy listening to the Twilight soundtrack🙃

 

I always look forward to your posts 😁😁 I totally agree with you - I think some guys want to come of "manly" or whatever so they won't admit they like it or watch it with their wives and don't hate it. 

The Twilight movie soundtracks are INCREDIBLE!! I still listen to all of them to this day... Twilight and New Moon soundtracks as a whole are my ultimate favorites but I also have some favorite songs off of Eclipse and the Breaking Dawn soundtracks.

Decode is my ALL time favorite though. I remember going to Hot Topic for the DVD release party for Twilight at like 11 pm on a school night LOL. I'll always love Twilight unapologetically... I hope one day we get lucky enough for a company to release premiums!!

I totally get what you mean. I loooove Evanescence too - I saw them live some years back as well and Amy Lee is so good live. There's something about this specific type of music/genre -- maybe badass front woman with great bassists, guitarists, drums, etc? It's my favorite thing 🥰

That's so wholesome!! ❤️ My mom used to sing me this song when I was a child, so it's one of my all time favorites. I also LOVE Vanessa Williams. How she didn't pursue a full on singing career with how beautiful her voice is, I don't know!
