So, I have been playing with the idea of waiting until they give the UHD treatment to 3 and 4... which would naturally lead to a nice Full Steel Boxset to appear one day... BUT, I am impatient...  After I picked up 2 the other day, I realized I now wanted the original, which is OOP of course.  So through the magic of EBay Overpayment for things, I bring you the original.  The steel has some imperfections, but I still hold out that one day there will be a full UHD Boxset👍This will have to suffice until then...

Good Luck in your quest!  Those reseller prices are a tough pill to swallow sometimes.  Understandable (supply and demand right?)  but tough! 😉

You quite nicely stated my daily torment of this hobby. Buy now, or wait for 4K or complete set or premium, blah blah blah .  So many beautiful Steels out there for BluRay.  I'm so new that everything is available for me!!  Unlike most of you, who can ignore some releases because you already have premiums, etc.  I'm in the honeymoon phase where it's hard to say no to anything.

 

This is really a great pickup.  Congrats!

Old news to you folks, but big news for me.  Got the DKTril in mail yesterday.  Wouldn't have paid secondary market prices for them but thrilled to have hunted them down at retail.

 

I do see the quality dif between these and the Manta Lab ZSJL I got from MP GB.  These are a great value, but the printing, the extras, the slip, just a coupla notches down.  I still love em though.

Get what you want regardless of the discs. Discs are plentiful and cheap, whatever edition you want may not be so inclined later on.
