So sunrise had a clearance on Chad's secret snuff tapes eh? 300$ is not bad for that particular kind of greasy....

@45Caliber

ROFL!  They have those in the back.  You have to ask for them personally.   :D

I bought almost the complete set of Family Guy, a couple of 4K's and some other stuff.

Totally forgot about this order from Kimchi.

Includes the RP1 set and a few full slips and lenti's.

Also from WeET Red Sparrow.

Very pretty and intense colouring.

Sadly unless they start making lenti's full slips it will be my last purchase from them.

Their first of 3 releases as an independent was a lenti Full Slip drama queen! ? I actually like the O-Rings. I like having smaller versions of all the stuff inside the steelbook instead of taking up unnecessary space.

I have that Sin City edition and love it.

I have no problem with o-rings.

But I do have a problem with them being priced so high.

IMO they should never be more then $20-25.

  • 2 weeks later...

Went to an eye specialist today and was told some pretty crappy stuff.

So I thought since I just passed 1400 blurays and dvd's I would treat myself to a spree at Best Buy.

Unfortunately they just killed the whole section.  It use to be 4 rows deep abut 30' long front and back with a special area at the front.

Now it's 2 rows full of a bunch of crap.

Luckily I grabbed these before they moved everything.

A bunch of 4K's some regular Blurays from the cheap bin and a Limited Edition of The Death Of Superman with figurine.

You alright KP? :( I feel the crappy news at the eye places... Albeit I haven't had anything serious happen (yet), but I'm constantly at risk for a detached retina (or something like that) because I'm way nearsighted I think it is?? That and I have different prescriptions in each eye which is irritating. Got a new pair of glasses MONTHS ago with an updated prescription and it doesn't even work for me :( Add in astigmatism and these "optical centers" or whatever and I swear I haven't had an accurate prescription in 2-4 years lol. ANYWAY. I hope everything is okay!

Also, epic haul as per usual :D

I was diagnosed with a progressive eye disease called Keratoconus last year.  It has progressed much worse since then.

Basically the cornea gets thin and starts to droop.  So I now see double out of both eyes and it's much worse in my left eye.

I will be doing a special eye laser treatment called CXL(cornea cross linking) in a few weeks that is supposed to help but the dr. thinks I will have to have a corneal transplant.  CXL is a treatment where they apply either over the eye or in my case they will make a small flap and apply a vitamin called riboflavin(I think) and then hit it with a laser for about 30 minutes.  This is supposed to help strengthen the fibers around the cornea.  Then a special and very expensive contact lense will need to be worn.  $2k out of pocket.

Good god!!!! Hitting you where it hurts man in more than one way! :( I really hope everything gets better and that if you have to have a transplant it goes smoothly and that the CXL goes well. Thankfully technology is a lot better nowadays but the cost... not so much. I seriously am keeping you in my thoughts KP!!! ❤️

Hey my Canuck buddy, a Cornea transplant is damn near day surgery nowadays.

My diabetic Chesapeake Bay Retriever needed to have both eyes done as diabetes in dogs pretty much always blinds them.

It turned out PERFECTLY! (you don't wanna know what it cost...)

AND, I picked him up the next day!

Now yeah, that's a dog, but what I'm getting at, is that even more care and concern is given to humans in 2018 so I'm just suggesting, don't fear it if it comes to pass.

Of course, all my prayers tonight will focus on this.

All the best!

Sorry to hear about this. Do whatever it takes to get well and take care of yourself. Hang in there!!!
