Hope more Psychos take the opportunity to complete up to 3 previous challenges

Yeah, I looked at the three I am going to submit and def will take you up on the opportunity.  We still have 15 people in the house, so it may be end of the week until I have some time to take pics.

I hope to submit something soon, but I just moved. And unfortunately, my movers forgot to wrap one of my spinning storage racks, and broke it before it even left my old house.Because it's mostly made up of particle board, they are not "responsible" for the break, although the owner credited me $25. Right now I have 1100 movies boxed up in my basement.

Challenge 5: „There's A First Time For Everything“

I've been collecting films, especially steelbooks, mediabooks, since I set up my home cinema. That was three years ago now. I only started with premium editions in autumn 2021. I came across them by chance via the secondary market. My first editions were Braveheart by Black Barons (acquired on the secondary market) and American Gangster from EverythingBlu leftovers at Zavvi. My first One Click was Godzilla vs Kong.

Then, when I looked into it more intensively, I came across Group Buys and the Media Psychos. That was almost exactly a year ago now. My first purchases (which have also been released in the meantime, I'm still waiting for others such as Les Misérables) were the ZSJL One Click from HDZeta Gold and The Last Duel.

Challenge 6: ABCDLMNOP - Alphabetize and Summarize!

G: Gladiator
E: E.T.
N: No Way Home
T: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri
L: Logan
E: Everest
M: Magnificent Seven
A: Alita Battle Angel
N: Nobody

There is no special story behind my username. I always wanted to have one that was as simple as possible. And since so much hate and crap is spread on the internet, it should be one that stands for respect, decency and behaviour. That's what I always try to live by.

CHALLENGE 15: Xmas Special Challenge - "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow"

When it comes to Christmas movies, there are actually three categories for me:

Category 1: Films my wife wants to see. These include Bridget Jones and (unfortunately) all three Sissi films with Romy Schneider. These are my marital sacrifices at Christmas. Although with Sissi it's already hard for me not to fall asleep.

Category 2: Films we watch together. These include Love Actually and Lord of the Rings. Although I have the feeling that Lord of the Rings is more my wife's compromise, but ok!

Category 3: Films I want to see ALONE. This includes the Die Hard series.

And if that's not enough for the challenge, then here are three Snow films...😃

CHALLENGE 1: LENTICULAR

Missed out on the first one because the week went by quicker than expected. Since I love lenticulars, I'm glad to return to this challenge now.

I can't pick just one favorite, as I enjoy almost all of them. But I'll single out Rogue One, as my favorite Star Wars movie. It's also a special set for me because at the time, it seemed like there would be more options for premiums (even an OAB from BF that was on the schedule for a few years), but this BF set ended up being just about the only premium. I can dream of an eventual premium set of Andor and Rogue One, but until then, I'm glad I picked up this set.

My preference is for depth lenticulars, which always feel like magic to me. But occasionally, you don't have to choose, and you can get depth and transitional, which seems beyond even magic. Here are a couple of those that I like. First, Pan's Labyrinth:

IMG_1915.thumb.jpg.419da9419d8ef247d4484644268b7913.jpg

And then, this brilliant concept for The Incredibles:

IMG_1916.thumb.jpg.6168ae0d7c86556cbb94bfafe13f4804.jpgIMG_1917.thumb.jpg.19b88e0c0b29ab378d6881f65c6a5036.jpg

Hard to capture the separate images in a photo. Looking at them in person, the trick is to close one eye and watch the transition, which, on both of these editions is fantastic.

Challenge 11: “IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN”

image.thumb.jpeg.cb82d8f8a2fc2dff82b0c600695882e6.jpeg

1: Spider-Man 2 (WeET)

I love part 1 equally as much as part 2 but I just don’t know what it is about part 2 it’s just always had a special place in my heart since I was a kid.

2: Blade Runner 2049 (FAC)

The main reason why I have 2049 above the original Blade Runner is because of the beautiful visuals.

3: The Winter Soldier (Kimchi)

I was never big on The First Avenger but The Winter Soldier for me took the MCU into a whole different direction for the better.

4: The Dark Knight (Zavvi)

Not much I can say really, the film speaks for itself.

5: Thor Ragnarok (WeET)

I enjoyed Thor 1 but when Dark World released I wasn’t a fan, what Taika Waititi done with Ragnarok was perfect.

A film which I think deserves a sequel is definitely Tron: Legacy

Thank you @extantsrevenge for extending the challenge. I've been so swamped, today is first time I've taken pictures in a bit. Here is my first submission

Challenge 2:

The Goonies OC (Cinemuseum)
- My first Group Buy in Media Psychos and was the movie my brother wore out on VHS.

Star Trek 30th Anniversary Series
- Has all the Complete Original Series, Animated Series, all of the TOS Movies and a Special Features disc exclusive to this set. Prior to this set I had been rocking the old Animated DVD Set.

Drive (Second Sight)
- is the only non-horror release from Second Sight I own. I love how they have all of the extras with this set and how the 4K and Atmos was stunning to me.

Ghostbusters (Sony)
- The best 4K/Blu-Ray Set out there (in my opinion). I love all of the extras, and got all of the movies in one set finally, and it actually lights up!

Forrest Gump Suitcase Edition w/ Soundtrack (BluFans)
- Forrest Gump is my favorite movie of all time. So when I saw this on the MP End of Year Sale, I had to have it. I never knew this version existed until I joined here.

Challenge 7: Creepin' it Reel'
Halloween 4K (Scream Factory)
The Thing 4K (Studio Canal)
Zombie (Blue Underground)
Re-Animator (Capelight)
Friday the 13th (Scream Factory)

First Movie that Creeped me out:

Evil Dead. At the end when hand explodes out of the chests of the Deadites, and they decompose before your eyes. This is also the reason Evil Dead is my favorite franchise. They did not care what they did, and just enjoyed having fun making the movie.

CHALLENGE 11 :

1- Rambo First Blood Part 2 : back to the jungle, treason, torture, escape…All the ingredients for a successful sequel 👍🏻

2- Predator 2 : Not as good as the first one, but I like it. Predator in town and Danny Glover, what a fantastic mix 🙂

3- Max Max Fury Road : I watched it again few weeks ago, very well paced with an incredible soundtrack that fits perfectly 🤗

4- Bad Boys 2 : I watched the first one at the theater, this duet is awesome and I find that the comical situations still work for this one too 👍🏻

5- War for the planet of the Apes : my favorite so far, Woody Harrelson is the the perfect villain.
