so i buy 2 papers after having something for breakfast as woke up with headache and pills i have goto have something to eat with them, so sausage baggette seemed like a good choice and a large cappuccino scoff and drink that at the garage knowing my manager wont turn up till 6.30 as our regular guy in hospital that opens up normally at 6am.

anyway get to work shes opened early for one of our site engineers to pick bits up and there not right my brench is covered in swarf and sh1t. fixing it all and there are 6 other benches.

eventually get to sit down at 6.50 and have a coffee start at 7am and about 7.20 comes up and says you checked the job card rack?

i said no why has it changed? why dont you go have a look?

check it and a job has come on and lazy assed cow could not just be bothered to tell me?

could have saved myself 50 mins putting it on de gas machine (takes 1hr 20 mins to do) if she had told me when i come in net result i did not have any lunch whatsoever to get the job done.

for ex navy she is a complete din. its all about her let alone i missed lunch because she could not be bothered.

i wish my manager could be botherd when ever i ask for parts its always ' oh youll just have to bear with me'

wish i didnt. i cant start till she gives me bits and takes her about 1hr 30 mins to sort most of it computer. why she cant just give me the bits and sort the computer out afterwards i do not know, its not rocket science.

does anyone else have plebs working above them that clearly should not?

reason i say this job i do we charge customers £1000 per unit and i am expected to do 1 per day but it does take all day usually so even losing an hour or two mucks up my whole day.

You’re definitely not alone, I have people above me who definitely shouldn’t be in their position. I don’t know how they got past the hiring process. At my place of work the Plant would run a whole lot smoother if management & Skill Trade workers, worked toward prevention instead of being reactionary.
 

There are a few who do, but damn sure not enough. All day most are just reacting to situations & never learning anything. I watch these people make the same mistakes day after day & they are so complacent because they are in a position of power. 
 

You can’t tell em $hit because they know everything (least that’s what they think)! Very frustrating to deal with, but I’ve learned to mostly ignore them & laugh at their foolishness.

I have 2 ways of dealing with this situation. 

 

1 is think thank stop using inappropriate language I don't have to live with them .

 

 

2 imagine the individual sat on the toilet . Kecks round thire ankles that works wonders for leveling the playing field

On my side normally my mother, on my girlfriend’s side it’s between her mom & dad, but her mother is pretty much retired from cooking. She doesn’t enjoy cooking anymore not sure why. She will start a dish & trick either Erica’s little brother or her dad into finishing it lol.

 

Last year Me, My lil sister, & Erica cooked for everyone! It was a lot of work, but we pulled it off & last year’s Thanksgiving with all us cooking the food for the first time was a success!!!

 

My favorite dishes are

Kai is not bothered as long as he gets his Yorkshire Pudding. 

 

 

Anyways  his alumni event tonight . We had no idea until the results where read out. 

 

He was in the running in 3 categories  Most improved Drama and Media . He lost in both to another pupil. 

 

However  the 3rd one a Special Award  he was 1 of only 2 pupil's in a year of 170 kids 

 

NOT to have a day off in the whole 5 years . The same as his sister 2 years before .

 

Well he was sick once in truth.  I got a call to say he was not well .

 

I went  got him home  fave him 2 paracetamol  with a coffee then , he ate 3 chicken Sandwiches,  a packet of crisps,  2 yogurts and a chocolate wafer bar .

 

I took him back to school after that . If hes ILL real ill  like his sister they don't eat .

 

The fact his attendance is so good is logged on his record so a flipping good start to his next stage of education .
