After a few days away from home I had a few arrivals waiting for me on my return. I also received my coin and wallet which i was sadly just as excited about 😂😂😂 some very nice boxes here. Kick-Ass and 2001 safe and sound to me from @blu.steel33 as always cheers mate. 

 

A special combined thank you to @ksosk and @Masterblaster who helped me to secure the amazing 2001 after I was too late to GB. A reason MP is number 1 staff and the boss go above and beyond to help you out even if you didn't manage to secure a copy at the time of a group buy, or you joined after one. The cards that came with it are 😍😍🔥🔥

 

Thor Ragnarok hardbox directly from FA who have delivered a few items to me now in a short space of time which is good to see, equalizer2 on route also. It's actually my first hardbox and I'm quite Impressed and they've promised more marvel hardbox releases.

 

Then lastly a few extra bits from elsewhere... You can't have too much T2 😂😂

Totally agree...very happy to receive all of those 😁 was disappointed when I seen people posting 2001 and I didn't have it. It's a really great release. Thor colours are beautiful and hardbox is nice and solid, like I had said it's my first hardbox and I would not be against a marvel collection of hardboxes lol. I need a bigger bookcase/display unit. What do you use to display your collection @extantsrevenge

What do people think about this news?? Was rumoured for a few weeks, denied and then confirmed.... I personally wudnt of chose him when I think of a good batman fit but no harm in giving him I chance. I love batman though so I hope the next movie is good...

I remember fan boys spitting blood at Ledger playing the Joker and look what happened. Robert is a superb actor and apart from "those" films has spent a great deal of his career in far more serious adult fare and art house films. I think if its a younger Batman, hes a good fit, He's tall, good looking and can do moody at the drop of a hat. I'll judge for myself when the film comes out, but I'm glad they went with a serious actor rather than young "in crowd" star

My problem with casting for such an ICONIC role is that few can play both Wayne and The Bat .

 

 

No secret that my personal favourite is Michael Keaton  .

 

Bale Awsome Bat  meh on Wayne

 

Affleck  Awesome Wayne meh on The Bat 

 

West Awesome Wayne meh on The Bat .

 

Val Kilmer + Clooney enough said .

 

 

Paterson I find MEH full stop. 

 

Hope it works out for fans .  Script will be a big part as always .

When I first heard, I could not believe this horrible choice and now that it is confirmed I can still no believe it. I simply can't imagine that it will be a success with him in the lead. He is not Bruce Wayne and absolutely no Batman.

 

 

I honestly hope that they fail big time with this. I love Batman since forever, I have thousands of Comics but something like this is depressing. I actually have no desire at all to own a single copy of this movie. But most likely I will end up with 1 4K Steelbook and HDZeta (if they still do DC in 21).

 

Same goes for the lead in the new Dune 😭 why do only actors I don't like get the big roles these days 😥

@extantsrevenge I love batman too.... So I am hoping this is not going to be a total disaster, I think he may be able to play the Wayne part ok. But batman I'm not so sure. Let's hope we are both really shocked and love it haha.

Been looking at what is coming out in the next few months and I'm determined to find a decent horror movie at some point this year 😂😂.... Anyone like the look of any of these... Might be alright 

 

 

Del Toro attached to the above which don't mean it will be good but maybe has a chance. 

 

I don't know if anyone likes gross out gory horror but rob zombie is finishing off his firefly family trilogy. After house of 1000 corpses and the devil's rejects, 3 from hell is the final part. No trailer yet..

 

There is also a sequel of some sorts to the shining, which kind of freaks me out but it has a decent cast and director on board so hopefully that isn't terrible. It follows a now adult Dan Torrance who meets a young girl with similar powers to him... If anyone can suggest anything else ....

At first glance that seems like a logical choice, no? A former vampire now playing a bat (maybe Batsy will have blood sucking batarangs 😁). 

People were even more skeptical when Ledger was cast as the Joker and we know how that turned out. Why not give the guy a chance to prove us all wrong - though I seriously doubt it myself.

I can see him perfectly cast as a young Alfred, though,

Yeah no doubt now we've got no choice but to give him a chance. Because it's the bats so I'll still be pumped to see it. Be interesting once pics and teasers show up later next year how he looks like. He's not a broad guy be interesting to see how much they get him to bulk up. I loved bale as bat myself.

@Robertm89 personally I am much more looking forward to the upcoming Joker movie with Phoenix. Regardless of the overall quality of the film I am certain that Phoenix’s performance will be a treat - incredible actor.

@R1s1ngs0n I'm totally split on that one .... I really wasn't feeling the trailer but phoenix is great so I'm sure his performance will be really good. He's been in a lot of very very good films.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... This is why DC play 2nd fiddle to Marvel in the world of cinema.

 

Constantly changing the cast and storylines. Zero continueity, Big performances are extremely rare and few and far between, and yet they insist on constantly churning them out in the hope they can get it right. 

 

They should wrap up the whole Justice League disaster, leave it a few years, and then come back fresh with a decent re-boot, and already have thier cast preppred and signed up to take it to new levels. All I see is failure. Gotham the series has been more entertaining than the JL right now (IMO), and that's shocking to realise!

Yep @Pbsw23 they all should of had stand alone movies... With decent back story before even thinking about justice League. I really enjoyed wonder woman and aquaman though..they should have been first... And learned from those lol.

Went to see it at the weekend, a real big cgi fest but all in all pretty enjoyable. Let me know what you think 👍
