Hello everyone. I started collecting films in 2005. At that time it was DVDs. There were over 300 items collected. When I bought a newer player, I switched to blu ray. In the meantime, I discovered the steelbook packaging. My collecting took on new colors. I came across collector's editions by accident when I bought the Blufans edition of Guardians of the Galaxy from a friend. Then I'll be hooked for good. Currently, I'm focusing more on collector's editions and I'm constantly expanding it in small steps. Hi everyone! I thought I'd share some items from my collection. I usually buy only one edition per movie, but for some of my biggest favorites like Blade Runner I go a little crazy ??? I will update this list from time to time with my various obsessions, starting with my all time favorite Blade Runner! p.s. If anyone's curious that small one in the middle is a VCD!

I discovered steelbooks and premiums in late 2019 and found MP soon thereafter. I had collected movies for close to 20 years, but was thrilled to find editions that went beyond the standard blu-ray. Over time I've replaced a majority of my collection with steels and premiums. I am fairly particular about what I purchase — I'm not interested in collecting all releases from any particular retailer, and thankfully I'm not all that interested in the Marvel and D.C. universes, so that's saved me quite a bit of money! 😄 I'm thankful to have found a community of collectors interested in the same thing, and of course a way to obtain the limited editions that MP has…

I tend to update my photos every few months. Here is the latest as of today. All of the titles on the main top shelves are 4K even though the steelbook might say otherwise. My Bluray steels are on the lower shelves and are generally only available in BD. Then I have the kids section as well with their own shelf. https://imgur.com/a/jTpvnCO

So it’s been a while but I have continued to re organise my library. I have ditched all plain editions as well and am only collecting limited editions. I have attached a photo of my current library. I have also the Knives out scanavo limited edition in the mail. I am also purchasing Black Hawk Dawn MAG & The Dark Knight Trilogy next week. I have reduced my collecting habits to to not spend much, but my lastest haul is giving me money motion sickness.

Hello everyone, here I'll post pics of my movie collection including steelbooks and other special editions. If you're also interested in my movie figures and other stuff, you can have a look here: raylights collectibles I collect blu-rays now for many years and my collection grows and grows. Two years ago I moved to a new home and got space for a separate room for my movies and I'm very glad about that. I bought new shelves at "IKEA" (Model IVAR). Normally this is a model for kitchen storage but it also works perfect for collecting Blu-rays and it is very simple to extend and rebuild. This is my entire movie collection as of today. As you can see, it's a very modest collection by MP standards, but one that I am proud of and quite satisfied with. Each Premium edition has been opened, caressed and cherished, with the only double dip being Blade Runner UC and Manta. I have a few upcoming releases on the horizon, which means I will somehow have to make room with the practically non-existant shelf space I got left (tv series will likely end someplace else in the living room).
