I discovered steelbooks and premiums in late 2019 and found MP soon thereafter. I had collected movies for close to 20 years, but was thrilled to find editions that went beyond the standard blu-ray. Over time I've replaced a majority of my collection with steels and premiums. I am fairly particular about what I purchase — I'm not interested in collecting all releases from any particular retailer, and thankfully I'm not all that interested in the Marvel and D.C. universes, so that's saved me quite a bit of money! 😄 I'm thankful to have found a community of collectors interested in the same thing, and of course a way to obtain the limited editions that MP has…

So it’s been a while but I have continued to re organise my library. I have ditched all plain editions as well and am only collecting limited editions. I have attached a photo of my current library. I have also the Knives out scanavo limited edition in the mail. I am also purchasing Black Hawk Dawn MAG & The Dark Knight Trilogy next week. I have reduced my collecting habits to to not spend much, but my lastest haul is giving me money motion sickness.

OLD LADIES, those old collector's editions, limited, or very very special; true gems out of reach of blockbusters and regular retailers. This is my entire movie collection as of today. As you can see, it's a very modest collection by MP standards, but one that I am proud of and quite satisfied with. Each Premium edition has been opened, caressed and cherished, with the only double dip being Blade Runner UC and Manta. I have a few upcoming releases on the horizon, which means I will somehow have to make room with the practically non-existant shelf space I got left (tv series will likely end someplace else in the living room). I've been collecting seriously for about 6 months now. These are my three main shelves/display at the moment (though I'm quickly outgrowing them). They are in my home office and drive lots of interesting conversation on Zoom calls (my premium shelf/posters is directly behind my PC).
