I discovered steelbooks and premiums in late 2019 and found MP soon thereafter. I had collected movies for close to 20 years, but was thrilled to find editions that went beyond the standard blu-ray. Over time I've replaced a majority of my collection with steels and premiums. I am fairly particular about what I purchase — I'm not interested in collecting all releases from any particular retailer, and thankfully I'm not all that interested in the Marvel and D.C. universes, so that's saved me quite a bit of money! 😄 I'm thankful to have found a community of collectors interested in the same thing, and of course a way to obtain the limited editions that MP has access to. Many thanks as always to @Masterblaster and the rest of the MP Staff for all of their efforts in making this community such a success! My ever-growing collection...

There are others here with more experience than I have, but yes, they are super slow and not delivering orders that are placed. I mentioned Facebook because they will reply there and I've seen many excuses made for the poor service. All of these retailers had difficulties due to COVID, but from my vantage point CM struggled significantly more than others. My advice for them? Hire someone who is good with supply chain and customer service! 😁

I love the CM releases, but their business is an absolute embarrassment. It's hard to find words to express how awful it is. I am a very patient and understanding person, but I can't pull any punches after what I've personally experienced and what I've read from others here and on Facebook. Just to be clear, this doesn't mean I think MP needs to cut ties with them, nor am I suggesting that. I do feel bad for the MP staff that have to interact with CM on behalf of the rest of us. I'm sorry you're having to deal with them too, @Reagh. Best of luck with that.

I can certainly respect the artistry and intention to create something original. I personally love the design, even if it doesn't correlate with the style of the film itself. The flimsy insert on the inside though... wow. I opened up a Manta Lab release yesterday and the difference in quality of the packaging is night and day. The foam is attached to the interior and snugly fit around the cases. The insert for E.T. is like construction paper and is torn in the corners, there's a loose piece of foam underneath, and the case with the movie and extras doesn't fit securely inside the insert. Are other UHD Club releases similar?

Good afternoon/morning/night everyone! 😆 I was working through @Basil's tutorial about setting up notifications for the clubs. I've been 'Pending' with a request to join the Notice of New Group Buys club since it was first created, yet I see it now has 41 members. I'm wondering if my request was missed? I understand this will replace the Notice of Group Buys in Update Phase thread, which I have found extremely helpful, so I very much want to set up notifications for this club to make sure I don't miss anything! 🙏

Very happy to report that I found the card in the shipping box! I'm sure there were reasons it wasn't included inside of the product itself, but...

Opened up this one tonight and was disappointed to find this blank spot where the card should be. 😔 @ksosk is there a way to remedy this? Also as mentioned by others the quality of the insert is really poor. This is my first UHD Club purchase and it’s kind of a mixed bag.
