I was so taken back by seeing this on another forum I immediately ordered from Amazon (France as it happens, albeit a German release) and just days later here it is.  I haven’t yet seen it, but it has two of my favourite things: an attentive health care worker and a 3D presentation ♥️ It may turn out to be rubbish, but sometimes the steelbook trumps the content !

 

edit 18 May. The film was mehhh and the 3D was mehhh… 😆

Nameless, NSM, and Koch have been doing some great mediabooks lately. Love how this one turned out. Is it bad I like the Mediabook more than the movie?

I love the Bob Clarke original, but never saw this remake.   Any good?

Yeah, I have soft spot for the remake. Very distinct for a horror film made in 2006 and rather mean-spirited in ways many studio slashers are not. It's not a great movie by any means, but it's a rather well-directed effort.

good for you. 

unfortunately, not even the amarays i bought had the complete info about the language - back side only mentions english, french and spanish, but it has multiple other languages, including czech (which is fine as slovak is not very common). and as i often watch movies with my family, local language is important for me. so if the seller dont have that info, i usually dont buy. 

i found these french amarays on one local website where they mentioned that 4k has czech audio/subtitles, so it was not a blind buy. 

 

additionally, skyfall was the first steelbook i ever bought so it has special place in my heart. i didnt want to replace this one, not even have the same film multiple times.

I got the best buy limited edition craig blu ray steels with the 4k disc transplants. I'm gutted bc they didn't continue the artwork style on No Time to Die 😞
