'Build' your dream steelbook

Following @Fortis93's post in the Indy topic, I thought it could be fun digging up and post artworks we would love to see being used for movies that got lackluster/plain looking steelbooks or none at all.

For an extra challenge, try finding art for each side of the steel (front & back).

Some of my prime candidates for your consideration:

A Clockwork Orange

Batman

Batman Returns

Dirty Harry

Goodfellas

Jaws

Scarface

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

The Shining

The Silence Of The Lambs

Zodiac

Really cool idea for a thread.

These are ideas for custom steelbooks I've wanted to have designed (with some minor alterations like text removal, slight colour alterations, etc.):

For something like Jaws (BACK - FRONT):

For something like Dirty Harry (BACK - FRONT):

I have one for Sorcerer as well (BACK - FRONT):

Not bad, but I'm sure there are alternative artist illustrations, rather than official posters, that would make even cooler covers.

That one for instance, for the front

I would like to have these  landscapes incorporated on the inside also! :)

Some dreamed suggestions for lovely steelbooks. Obvisouly, subjective. In my case I love BS that shows something essential in the movie, nice and representative, without making spoilers. In a certain minimalist way, but equally profound; that turns the steelbook (or the cover of any edition) into something beautiful and elegant that is worth seeing in your living room, that awakens in you the desire to pick it up with your hands,

1. Blade Runner. I love this BS/poster, not easy to be found. I want a steelbook like this. No front tittle is needed, all the impage express all we need to know about de film, where you can find more and more details.

2. La dolce vita. A perfect, modern, representative and elegand design.

3. In the mood for love. Cannes Festival has some minimal but beautiful posters that I would be able to touch in a steelbook, changing the reference to the festival for the film title.

4. L'Avventura. Another Cannes Festival poster that I would like so much to have it as a Steelbook BS. The poster is too expensive to be bought at least by me. Again, changing the reference to the festival for the film title. Even so, "L'Aventura" and following, "by Antonioni".

5. Blue velvet. I have found some similar ones, but something is missing.... I would love to have this BS as steelbook, deleting the prizes.

6. One from the heart. This BS is not new, but I love it, and I've never found it as steelbook. The 4K master is ready to be distributed soon, I hope any retailer do a collector or special edition using this BS.

7. The Irishman. A classic designed steelbook for a "new" classic movie. It remember me some seventies BS movies.

8. The Usual Suspects. One of the most underrated films in the last 30 years, and with less options to have a special edition. A collectors edition opportunity waiting to be found.

We have an old GB only for the slip with this design....

...and the person who started that GB has refused to respond to questions about its progress for years. It's a dead project, but he won't even stop by to say that much and close the GB.

Your La Dolce Vita poster was the cover of the Criterion blu-ray several years ago. It needs a 4K Criterion, with slipcover, and they can definitely keep using that cover. Beautiful!

Well this one is probably going to be controversial, but I have always been partial to the posters created for the Star Wars Special Edition re-releases in the late 90's.

If George Lucas and Disney will only ever give us the Special Editions on disc, then at least give us steels with the matching art...

It's weird how we haven't had as much Star Wars premiums as we do Blade Runner/Spiderman/Superman/Batman premiums.

Good point! Have there been any others aside from Creator Era?

Not original trilogy, but: Blufans (Rogue One, Force Awakens, Last Jedi); SM Life (Rise of Skywalker); Nova (Force Awakens); Kimchi (Rogue One)

Mondo did so many SW posters, I always wished they'd use some for the steelbook line. This is one I'd have been happy with:
