Bullitt is definitely a standout when talking about car chases on film. Steve did a lot of the driving & the scene benefits from not having to hide the face of the driver. Gone in 60 Seconds on the other hand doesn’t hold up for me anymore. Watched the film about a year ago, & didn’t enjoy it as much as I use to. The big car chase now feels over edited, & real choppy. I guess my tastes have changed, because I use to love that movie. Anyways another entertaining car chase is in The Matrix Reloaded.
