Ugh oh well, it's her favorite movie and the standard BB steel is outrageous so why not go big with the CM release and it finally popped up on their website

If your are referring to the Jaws CM release, it does not appear any have shipped direct yet, but hopefully  shipping is imminent for both the group buy and direct with all those new pictures that have been released, but who knows.

the shipments for the single editions of jaws will start next week, while for the boxes, around the first / second half of July, the delays are caused by non-conforming material for the prints.

OK so i dont expect the boxes to ship before end september at the earliest. 2 years between the announcement and the release. They should really stop this way of doing business. It is getting ridiculous. Too bad cause they make Great looking editions, but having to pay 2 years in advance for something really bothers me.

there has been the covid in these two years that has slowed everything down, they are a small reality, and the situation of the pandemic has seriously put them in difficulty. also there were errors in the booklets, and in some components of the box, which had to be reprinted. however apparently both jaws and once upon time will all be shipped in July.

Covid, yeah... Covid is indeed to blame for a lot of things, but covid is also a perfect excuse for a lot ofhers.

Covid did not stop them from keeping announcing lots of editions they knew in advance would take ages to be released.

I don't know what to tell you, two years is really exaggerated, I know, but I don't think it was pleasant for them too. they had the problems that all other medium / small distributions have had and still have.

The problem with these folks is they don't ever show any improvement! They had long delays before covid hit. They had 3 shutdowns in Italy during the worst of covid and I'm sure some of their vendors went out of business so now they need to replace them. Get that but the printing errors just keep happening. I've been buying from them from the beginning and they must have used the printing error delay excuse a dozen times or more. Don't you have a vendor print out a sample first...examine it in detail then give the go ahead to print all? How is it possible to have the same problem over and over again? They show no ability or will to improve their business. I have most of their releases and love most...great looking stuff. Will continue to join group buys but will never give them my money direct anymore. Think they need a seasoned professional to get things worked out.

Hey guys, I understand the frustration. My expectation was that Jaws and OUATIH should have shipped last month. I can tell you that the printing issues are real and that CM has fired that vendor and will be using a new one going forward. And it's not the first time they have had to change vendors. Regardless, much improvement in speed is needed.  When I get any new updates I'll be sure to post them in the I&Q thread.

in the live today they said that they are working to reduce waiting times in the future, it is difficult, but they are working on it.

Don't have any CM boxsets, but hopefully in the next months to years I will have some.  Does anyone know if CM boxsets (2 edition boxsets) are usually the same dimensions?

yes they all have the same size, apart from that of the goonies which is a bit bigger (in width) because it contains 3 editions inside, but in height it is still the same as the others.

Thanks!  Appreciate the info, just seeing if planning ahead on purchasing cases would work.  Still could backfire if sizes change but nice to know CM has been consistent so far.  So excited to receive these!  Premium collecting has forced me to greatly improve my patience.

Katana has a protector for CMA GOONIES. They will probably have one for this edition too. If not, they will make one custom if you send the dimensions.

Thanks, you read my mind.  Actually saw a CM case for the Shining boxset on the web page that I am assuming would work.  If anyone has tried this on a CM 2-edition boxset let me know.  Unfortunately, none of the boxsets are in hand yet.
