@Grendel that is a lot of Venom already 😊 congrats on the nice arrivals, can't wait to see more. The sleave for the Empire LP looks stunning, we had a different in Germany, sadly I don't have any of my old LPs anymore. But I'm happy with CD's now 😁

Which unexpectedly, also came with a gorgeous artbook, titled Dr Ido's Journal.

 

Also was privileged in having a dear friend, @larson1977 grab the Capelight Boxed Spec ed. of Pan's Labyrinth

So, the wait (self imposed) is finally over.
I received my incredible edition of
Legend Of The Galactic Heroes 😀

It's bigger than I anticipated, though not complaining.
It arrived in immaculate condition I'm happy to say.
Very much looking forward to delving deep into this with the winter nights turning a bit chilly as of late...

he Threads release from Severin has a beautiful Lenti slip-cover that transitions from tranquil scene to utter devastation.

Le Grand Bleu I've wanted to get my hands on for some time and when Nova had the Steel up for their Winter sale, I jumped on it. The whole "free dive" experience is incredibly fascinating to me and this flik deals specifically with it so YEAH!

The EB "Mummy Trilogy: Book Of The Living" release is drop dead gorgeous as are the 3 Steels inside it.

Hi Folks;
I received this incredible bronze of King Leonidas from the film 300 from my kids for Christmas so had to share!
Pictured with the Graphic Novel, dvd special edition released long ago and the newer MLIFE Blu-ray Spec Ed (with small poster in front)
The statue is appropriately heavy and the spear and arrows in the shield are removable.
Absolutely gorgeous and as I'm (to a degree) a fig collector, especially of film characters, this has pride of place for display.
Absolutely delighted my kids know what I like as well! 🤗

Also wanted to upload this;

My Game Of Thrones HBO Special Edition set arrived 2 days ago and I think it is absolutely gorgeous.
I did not have any previous editions of GoT as I knew that on series completion there would be a full set of some nature so waited for it to happen.
No regrets whatsoever.
First it is BIG, like really big, like overkill big.
Second, it's heavy, quite heavy. Understandable considering the materials used I suppose.
Third, the artwork of the entire package is top tier imho. A lot of love and attention went into this, far more than just printing off a bunch of slip covers.

I was fortunate in that mine arrived in immaculate condition. Always a concern with something of this nature traveling long distance.
Superbly packaged in triple box (internally padded with bubble sheet on box 2) if it had been dropped I think it still would have survived.

So, if like me, you have held off on any fancy packaging in the past or simply want to upgrade, this is certainly worth your consideration.
My hats off to HBO for making this happen!

Hi @PRIAPISM ;

It wasn't the Venom film I cared so much for, though I did find it entertaining, but the character of Venom itself that I've been following sincve his inception back in Amazing Spiderman #298 ( with 1st big reveal in issue #300).

So, more out of nostalgia, I said I'd "get 'em all" so yeah, I did, heh. 

( Oh, I also snagged the HMV exclusive that came with a POP! fig, heh.)

Need to take a pic yet.
