So I went with the DL from the box set as my ‘watching’ edition. Stuck the 3D disc in from the old Amaray that I had. Just got to get a 4K disc sometime.

so you did not bought this collector box from Amazon UK ... box with petslip + steelbook, booklet .... with 4K & goodies ?

the steelbook 4K is still available on Zavvi if you want it. Just hope I'm talking the same movie as you

I have a great TV Plasma Panasonic THX 3D ... and it's so frustating to let go my TV Panasonic to get only a 4K TV Pana ....

Like you I have many great movies in 3D ... Don't have a projector but even with this TV, the 3D effects are amaizing. 

 

Directors keep making movies for 3D in theaters, so there is huge contradiction many movies in 3D ... no more bluray 3D in shop but most no more 3D TV ... why does display manufacturers not keep building TV 4K and 3D at the same time ? Is it impossible technically ???!!!

 

I saw on youtube you may find a tool when you got a projector, you can get 4K & 3D ... don't know how it works !

I took this edition in France (we don't have the same steelbook in this box), so I took it because I knew I'll get the hdzeta, and the BN is way more expensive than this little french box.

 

But I agree, BN looks so magnificent.

 

Actually there is too much temptation on Mediapsycho, really hard to resist. 😄

Just a couple recent Best Buy gets...  It would be nice if they had Mean Girls in 4K for this nice Steelbook, but it's just too good to pass up.  I have seen it on here from others many times and finally broke down.  Pet Sematary is just a classic... 👍

Just wanted to share this box I bought on Etsy to house the Scream Factory Halloween UHD's. It seems really well done, I love that it feels like a unified set now.

 

I do think the back is a little generic, and the discs are mildly loose fitting. I'd rather have loose fitting than too tight, though. The sides and the top look 5 stars to me.
