I had 9 that I wanted to test, but 3 I dropped after the first Episode.

 

From this Season, I'm following:

 

- Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

- Tokyo Revengers S3

- Under Ninja

- Goblin Slayer S2

- Spy x Family S2

- Pluto

 

But I will watch most later, as I'm currently have other Series running.

I saw a snippet of Frieren, how is that one?

Under Ninja I'm following too. It's pretty good so far. 

Spy x Family seems like a slow burn so far

 

As for 15, last season I watched 18 😆

I saw the first episide, and I liked how it was a different take on the Fantasy Genre "What happens when the Quest is done", it also has a very high production value (which has become kinda rare these days).

😲, years ago I watched much more of each season, but somehow the new stuff is no longer so interesting to me. 😲, years ago I watched much more of each season, but somehow the new stuff is no longer so interesting to me. I'm not really a fan of all these "Character gets pulled into a Gameworld" Animes and they do a lot of those. And sadly lots of Anime look so cheap. They had 59 new Series starting this season, kinda crazy.

I just got into the isekai / fantasy genre so my number of animes went up 😆 

 

That VRMMO anime though is pretty good. Also that one where the Demon Lord gets sealed and wakes up in the future. Or the one where the hero gets taken back to the past. Or that one Berserk of Gluttony. Hehehehe I need help 😆 

I'll have to check out Frieren though. 

Anime I'm so happy it finally aired is MF Ghost, the predecessor to Initial D.

I actually like the Isekai genre, but I'm annoyed that most are now treated like being sucked into a Gameworld, or that the Fantasy World has the typical Game properties, like Quests, or finding items to increase stamina and the like. But Sword Art Online was so big that everyone wants to copy that.

 

I'm more a Fan of the Classics in this Genre liky 12 Kingdoms, Escaflowne, Magic Knight Rayearth, Fushigi Yuugi or Now and Then, Here and There.

Fair enough. I got into it like a year or so ago so the recent ones that came out I enjoy. I do find that one anime Redo Healer so effin crazy lol

Have you seen that one called My daughter left the nest and returned as an S-Rank warrior? It came out this season.

I did not check out both of these series. They failed my preselection.

 

Each season I check out a season preview with trailers and short text, from that I choose what looks best to me. After that I watch the first episode of the series that are completely new. Some I instantly drop, the series that survive get a watching spot as soon as one becomes available.

 

I also check the rating series receive on myanimelist and if I discover a high rated Anime that I missed but sounds interesting I will give that a try.

 

I'm currently watching Bocchi the Rock! which I completely missed before and it is hilarious 🤣

 

I also finished Skip and Loafer recently and that was also so funny

For me, I just read the synopsis. If I like where it's going after episode 1, I'll push forward. 

 

Ahhh Bocchi the Rock, now that was a sleeper! I almost dropped it because of the animation but it had potential so I stuck with it.

 

How was Skip and Loafer? I believe I overlooked that one

I liked it a lot. It is funny, with very likeable main characters. Especially the Girl. The first Season is the first 4 volumes of the Manga, it is up to 9 volumes and still ongoing, so I really hope a second season will come out.

 

P.A.Works was the Studio making the Anime and they are a very high quality Studio when it comes to the Animation, this one had a different style to what they normally do, but it looked great. Highly recommended.
