Just finished Season 2 of Ultraman on Netflix and actually looking forward to Season 3 later this year.

 

Despite a fair few stolen moments from the likes of Marvel and Tekken, I found this to be highly binge worthy with each 20min episode containing the perfect amount of action and leaving you wanting the next one. It’s visually beautiful during battle scenes and some of the Aliens are great in how they have been imagined. I can def see myself using artwork from this series in a future Lego MOC.

 

 

So while I await series 3, I have finally got around to starting Ajin as highly recommended by @LeGonze 😊👍🏼

Finished Ajin: Demi Human. Thoroughly enjoyed that. I’d say it lost its edge a little in Season 2, and seemed to be confused by itself at times wether the black ghosts were visible or not 🤷🏼‍♂️ But still gripping all the same. Also didn’t really explain the ending very well, more questions than answers. No idea if there is supposed a season 3 coming or not? Anyway, got my eye on a physical copy of this one now.

 

Today I am starting Hit Monkey. Watched the pilot and well… it’s bizarre! Violent but comical. I’ll be sticking with it, only 10 episodes. Whilst the UK is plunged back into freezing weather (will it ever end?!) I’m taking the opportunity to plough through my Animated watch list. 👍🏼

Nathan my friend, we are heading to Tokyo, Osaka (Universal Studios), Kyoto, Kobe, Nara and any place that I can reach in 14 days, I am going with my wife and is going to be her 1st time in Japan, I was there back in 2012. She is super pump to see the cherry blossom 😁

Warner Archive Collection Announces “Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice” blu-ray

Good news for Physical Media collectors – Warner Archive Collection is giving its fiercest collectors their choice of rare titles in the Looney Tunes catalog. Announced by George Feltenstein (and yours truly) earlier today on The Extra’s podcast, a new 20-title collection, Vol. 1 of a new series called Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice, is expected to release in late May on blu-ray. And with it a group of first-time-on-blu-ray, restored HD Warner cartoon classics – not the same restorations from HBO-Max and MeTV: an upgrade.

15 is a lot 😲

 

I had 9 that I wanted to test, but 3 I dropped after the first Episode.

 

From this Season, I'm following:

 

- Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

- Tokyo Revengers S3

- Under Ninja

- Goblin Slayer S2

- Spy x Family S2

- Pluto

 

But I will watch most later, as I'm currently have other Series running.
